...I've only just noticed that you had solved that puzzle Topaz... well done!... it was a mongrel to solve wasn't it?... cheers.

Before entering the room turn 'ON' let’s say the first 2 of the 3 light switches, leaving the 3rd switch 'OFF' and wait for a minute or two.

Turn the 1st light switch 'OFF' leaving only the 2nd switch 'ON' and enter the room.
If the light is on…. Yes, switch 2 is the answer

If not… touch the light globe and if warm…. switch 1 is the answer

If not… yep you got it…. Switch 3 is the answer.

Just turn all 3 switches to the on position... Nothing in the puzzle conditions says you can't do this

But how would you know which light switch controls the light bulb if you switch all 3 on or are you just turning on the light?
