It certainly has me thinking back to a conversation I overhead between my mother and her friend when I was aged around 6yrs! I can distinctly remember them discussing Rolf and the words 'dirty man' mentioned. From that time onwards, every time I saw him on TV, I always remembered that conversation and just thought he likely had poor hygiene!!!!

I see you have the typical forum victim mentality and have well and truly made yourself the poor abused victim. Rather than continuing to believe your own bullshit, I suggest you look at the facts. All I did was merely offer you some constructive criticism regarding the way you were processing the information of the alleged crime against Rolf Harris and his possible victims. You were the one squawking at me to “fuck off” and you were the one calling me names and posting stupid little angry face motey's as a visual reinforcement of your displeasure. I am guessing I must have struck a nerve considering the fact you are still dribbling about it at 3 o’clock in the fucking morning!

Yeah, this is a place where we prefer to look at the substance of a persons posts rather than be oddly critical of how that person prefers to state their point of view, be it first/third person, or long winded diatribes......

Forums at their core are meant to incite discussion, challenge the way you think, push you out of that comfort zone and make you really look at yourself and what you believe in. I have found through forums the things I completely believe to be true about myself and my opinion have been often wrong, and that is where personal growth is born.
You make it sound like a poorly written communist regime. Who is this ‘we’ exactly? Is it in fact everyone or just you and a couple of like-minded forum friends?
It is okay for every fruity forum flavour to have an opinion. You see the abrasive, the outspoken, the meek, the long winded diatribers, the depressed, the confused, the clever, the idiotic, the boring, the illiterate, the victims, the bully's, the humorous, the humourless and even the unnecessarily dramatic post among us, there is enough room for everyone. How boringly beige your feed must be if everyone who irritates you or has a different way of thinking to you goes on your ignore list. I have never in all my forum years ever put anyone on ignore. Bet you $5 you go to all that trouble to put people on ignore only to have to go to all the extra effort to peek at their post anyway. But it does amuse me how you dramatically find the need to tell me. Do you really think it effects my day either way?
See, we both have an opinion of each other, which is not to say either of us are right, but thankfully we live in a lucky county where we do have the right to voice it. I will take what you said on board and I will consider your view.
I have no problem with Moonchild expressing how they feel. I think the bigger question is why do you have such a problem with me expressing how I feel? Isn't that the foundation of a forum? Expressing how we feel and the discussion/abuse which ensues?
Anyway that is enough forum dramatics for me for one day, I have a precious day off to enjoy. I will try and keep my evil thoughts to myself until the show returns, no guarantees given that I am a judgemental opinionated pain in the arse in my real life too! Ha! Seriously!

A very nice sentiment indeed. If you really think there is enough room for everyone, then I don't understand why you continue to stage abusive personal attacks on those posters whose ideas or phrasing displeases you. You often make an amusing and insightful contribution to a thread, but attack fairy is just plain awful.
Oh dear, I can't believe I am buying into it, but let's do it..
Jam and Topaz, this isn't the land of fluff and bubbles where farts smell like rainbows and shit tastes like chocolate. This is a forum where an abrasive poster will be abrasive, an opinionated poster will be opinionated, a humourless poster will be humourless, and a victimised poster will be the eternal victim and so on. That is my point, we may not share views and argue passionately regarding our opinions but there is enough room for all of us. That doesn't mean we all have to don our PJ’s giggle all night and have a pillow fight and be BBF’s. It means while some of us can’t stand the sight of each other – there is enough room for all of us, whatever the personality (or there lack of) type.
I think a lot of you people miss a direct and confrontational post as being “attacking”. Scroll back and tell me where I have been attacking. I was merely stating my opinion in a direct manner. I was then asked to clarify as to why I held my opinion (and was told told to “fuck off” and called a “dickhead” in the same sentence) to which I further explained and was once again called a “dickhead” and yet somehow I am the attacker. Moonbeam, or whatever her name is, then tried to rally public support by involving another poster in her argument (new level of pathetic if you ask me, but anyhoo…), bleating about her “attack” begging them to scroll back and take a look, but again, I am viewed as the attacker.
To be honest, I don’t think some of you would recognise a bona fide attack if it crept up behind you and gave you an atomic wedgie causing your arsehole to scream. A post that makes you self-reflect, or feel hurt, or feel angry, frustrated or uncomfortable is not an attack, it is a reaction to an opinion. However if I was going to score aggression, I would suggest telling someone to fuck off or losing your temper and calling them names like the c word (I would write it but it will, for some reason, be censored internally) or a dickhead seems far more aggressive than an observation, response or opinion which doesn't please you.
The irony is while you are all back slapping each other with support of your shared “TraLa is aggressive” opinion; I too have received support from some unlikely posters through PM’s in the last couple of weeks, which has been both surprising and pleasing. In fact the latest one greeted me this very morning. Knowing the culture of a forum and how some people hate to stand up for what they believe in in the public arena, I will keep the posters anonymous, however you know who you are, so feel free to own it publicly --> if you dare! But seriously your identities are safe with me. In all honesty, I appreciate a PM that doesn't involve the usual physical threats, name calling and abuse!
So it would appear that not everyone in here hold the same view as Team Terrorised.
My God forum fighting is like fucking in an alley, while it is excitingly enjoyable at the time, by the end it just leaves you feeling dirty, ashamed and unsatisfied, I feel like I need a shower.
Now let’s swing this puppy back on topic though, I mean seriously the only thing worse than a TraLa opinion is a pedo, which brings us back to Jimmy Saville…

I find it really amusing how you continue to speak for the masses. You are like a self-appointed forum version of Kim Jong –il, hey I know! You can be Kxk Jong-il!!!. I love the way you turn your personal opinion into “we” and “us” statements when discussing how the forum runs or should run. It is not “we” it is “you”, you and a couple of your back slapping friends. I also found it hilarious when you implied that you allow Despatch to be the exception, why is that? Did he dare to have an independent thought or could you not turn him in to one of your boring backslapping Stepford Wives?
I like this forum and I like approximately two and a half posters and the only time I am going to leave it is when I am banished to the naughty corner (granted judging by my history that will be for lengthy durations and often). I am not going to change who I am, mostly because I couldn’t even if I tried. I am straight forward, I am direct and I am confrontational, but most of all I am honest. And if I am to be honest, I would rather eat my own eyeballs than ever become your forum version of an ideal poster. While I may call a spade a fucking shovel, I don’t believe I am a cruel person; however I do agree that I am intolerant when it comes to idiots and self-absorbed people drive me bonkers, so I should probably learn how to at least sprinkle something a little sweet on my opinions at times.
In closing I would suggest you take your blinkers off and open your mind, there is never a wrong place to find inspiration for self-improvement, and while we are on the subject of self-improvement, a quick tip for you, if you are going to appoint yourself the BBB moral compass and dictator of everything this forum is and should be, you really need to work on your speech, grammar and basic formatting.
Oh and do me a favour, but me on ignore like you promised.
