Here you take my example of real world bullying and call me a victim,you also attempt to call my parenting abilities into question. Those are attacks. Furthermore you repeated the same in your next post as though I morphed myself into a victim yet again and again indirectly implied something about my parental abilities.

You have to be kidding me.

According to research, there is no such thing as a classic "bully target". Strong, capable and cordial does not make you immune. A friend who is all of that was bullied by two co-workers in what she says was a concerted attack.

Well there goes that argument about empowering your kids.

In any case, someone who on a sensitivity scale of 0 to 100 rates a firm 0 is probably least qualified to say anything insightul about bullying.

We are all susceptible to being treated nastily or poorly by people or groups of people, look no further than a forum to see proof of that.

What adds to the appeal of the prospect of her winning is knowing how infuriated most of her ex housemates will be. Up yours, a*holes, we nutters will cry in unison. There's nothing like a good victim-turned-hero story to get the juices pumping!

I am not a fan of Estelle and I really hope, as I have done from Day 1, that Ben wins. However I completely agree with you regarding how she has conducted herself in the face of adversity. Her loved ones must be so proud of her. I think she is a great role model to anyone who sits just left of centre.

For some reason devout Estelle fans find the need to turn her into a victimised little soul who has been bullied to the brink of breakdown, and this simply is not the case. The house is an extraordinary environment. You are stuck with each other 24/7 with no escape. At times Estelle's idiosyncrasies drove the housemates bonkers, and that's okay, as people that happens. From what I have seen, the housemates really seem to like her and they all seem to get on really well as a whole.

I don't entirely agree with your last point; certain types of people (insecure ones) seem to need someone to hate, and, to quote Michael, Estelle drew the short straw on account of her individuality. OK, the extent of that hatred isn't as intense as some may perceive it, but, to use your word, she has certainly had plenty of adversity to overcome.

Part of the whole BB concept (other than to make money for the networks) is the social experiment aspect. I think from that point of view this series has been a big success. That's in large part down to the Estelle storyline, and, admittedly, plenty of colourful contributions from Ben along the way! It would be fitting if it's those two left on the couch on the final night.

I agree with you, only time she has ever been really upset was the Sarah conversation, after being nominated (thats not bullying its part of the game, Sara-Mare, Camilla all had worse) and hearing Michael nominating her, which cant of effected her to much since she is now spending most nights kissing him.

If I were Estelle and read half the stuff on here about me as this poor little victim I would be horrified. Estelle believes herself to be a strong independent girl who can stand up for what she believes and is happy with who she is, I think she would be embarrassed that people see her as a perpetual victim that needs protection.

And even people like Angie who struggled with her most in the house said she didnt hate her, she struggled to live in a confined space 24/7 with her which most people would with anyone. Fact of life is you wont get along with everyone, people will not always like you, and if you are on a game show based on personality you have to expect that. I'll be interested when Estelle is evicted to see what she thinks about being thought of as a victim I imagine she will struggle with that more than she would anything thats happened in the house.

The irony is, both sides fight and name call in a spit filled vitriolic frenzy, in the never ending crusade against all that is bullying and nastiness.
