Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

Did you notice that list is small? How about a list with celebrities that drive?
You really make it too easy.

According to YOU, 7 people constitutes enough of a sample size.

They are all up in arms over lavender, calm down Ben! As for Angie, I will me horrified but not surprised if she gets most saved again.

The public is retarded if Angie get's the most saved votes. How can they like her with that type of behaviour? but I guess as we've mentioned before, they're probably bogans lmao.

The lavender thing is the biggest joke ever. Estelle better stop wearing clothes, she's doing it to annoy people!

Why don't you just get stuffed?

Portillo claimed men without a licence were not well received, and in fact some type of loser. I just proved him/her wrong. But you go ahead and keep moving the goal posts and changing the meaning to things - you are really good at it, kind of like Estelle is really good at pissing people off.

You proved me wrong because a few celebrities dont drive? Most celebrities have a fleet of cars.

Sucks so bad Angie is a dead cert to stay, blech! But yeah she really would appeal to certain demographics, lol. Also it seems like they are really trying to push the whole Ava/Josh angle this week. Just then Ben was given a task to ruin one of Ava's dresses by jumping in the pool. They want Ava to get more airtime. Be good if that ended up with Angie booted but more likely would result in Estelle out.

I don't like how BB is favouring others #_#

Sometimes, it can be yeah....I mean especially if you want action after the date haha.

Yeah but I mean first date type things?

Generally I just meet people places. Also it's too difficult living in a city, people aren't close, you have to deal with driving ect. Just catch a train, tram or taxi somewhere. Then night is free to go where ever.

It's like that in Melbourne hey. I like our transport even tho a lot of people complain about it. I guess peak hour is annoying as hell though.

The fact that you are trying to point that out as a rebuttal.....oh boy.
Completely illogical.

In Melbourne though, it's probably a bit different....it's a large city and stuff...so yeah you can forgive people for not really driving much in the big city....because everything is central.
Brisbane....before I was driving I had to catch a bus and a train to get to work, which is only 20 minutes away in the car....it's so much easier to drive around in.
Cept in the city to uni, won't do that again....yikes!

Plenty of people don't drive for plenty of reasons. Economic and environmental issues are probably tops.

But if your like me - I don't drive, too poor at 16/17 to learn, too poor after that to buy a car.
Then when I finally had a job & had my learners, I went through the windshield in a car accident.

You might be surprised at how many people have been in serious accidents and don't want to drive, and it's not about hurting you, you become extremely concious of cars being lethal weapons, I'm terrified of hurting someone else.

But I do wish I could drive, it's like being handicapped

I sympathise. Similar story with me. I was 17 when I went through a windscreen and my fiance (the driver) was killed. I didn't get my licence until I was 31 and only then because my husband refused to drive our son and me around (we lived 20 kms from a country town).

I still don't like driving and avoid it as much as possible.

Or he lives in a city like New York or Tokyo or London where you can easily live your whole life without a car.

I would believe Estelle and her lavender story if she had the lavender in her head from the get go, however it appears to have started after her idiot lavender reply to Michael. Now she has adopted it as another wonderful, whimsical Estelle trait, it isn't an accident; it is suddenly there all the time and if anyone else did it you would probably be claiming they were talking to the outside world or something.

Or it could be it's spring and the lavender has just flowered.

Another clear example of them looking for things to complain about Estelle.

About the lavender? Maybe. It's amazing what stupid and petty things people can find to complain about a HM. For instance, Michael cops this:

Worldly experience? Yeah somehow I doubt Michael's got much, can't even drive ffs.

Supremely idiotic. Driving a car is a mundane choice most people make as a transport convenience. Choosing not to drive has zero to do with worldly experience. That is simply hands down anti-Michael for the puerile, unthinking, knee-jerk sake of it. I am aghast at the stupidity. Fuck me Sorceress, I disagree with you a lot of the time but I thought you had half a brain. Maybe you do but for some reason have momentarily decided to disguise the fact. I'm gonna move on now because you wouldn't believe the tirade I feel like unleashing at that gormless piece of twaddle you just decided to post as a comment.

He has a sook to big brother that Estelle didn't appreciate his racist-oriented joke and she told him it was unnecessary and offensive,

He didn't tell a racist joke. It's very clear in his explanation as to why he's annoyed at with Estelle about this. But this is just a another clear example of an Estellle fan seeing what they want to see rather than face up to why the HMs near universally don't like her.

This example is one that makes Estelle look bad because she's wantonly missed the point to that she can big note her disapproval of racism. Michael was already making a point about racism. Estelle couldn't bear not to take it as an opportunity for one-upmanship. She tries to make Michael look like a bigot so she can appear the princess of anti bigotry. That is ugly behaviour. Even with the anti Michael distortion, it's just weird to see it enthusiastically cited as an anecdote in support of Estelle. There's video. We can check it for ourselves and be reminded of how ugly Estelle can be. Sheesh!

The thing you miss is that her comments aren't actually out of line with her not understanding the joke. She just pointing out she didn't appreciate hearing the joke again. Nothing wrong with that.

Michael is upset that her comments may make him look bad. Then blaming her for him potentially looking bad. The fact he thinks he could look bad from it shows that h actually thinks he would look bad if the full unedited footage was aired. Which further shows her comments may not have been out of line, out of place at all.

Supermonster, my response was based on something i read in the thread that another user had posted and consequently based on heresay.. not on actual footage of the event that i had watched and heard with my own eyes. Furthermore, my response/post(the response of mine you are quoting and subsequently vilifying me for), was under the impression that the previous poster was referring to micheal when in actual fact they were talking about Ben & Stacey (Check the posts afterwards, it was clarified to me by someone).

Anyway please dont generalise me as some tunnel-visioned, rose-tinted-glasses wearing Estelle fanatic because based on what i read in the threads about the entire event which in turn made me perceive the situation in a certain way.. i feel my response was adequate. After watching tonights show its still not entirely clear as i still have not seen that exact exchange between Estelle and Micheal.

Either way, it seems your 'example' is anything but clear.

PS - BTW the housemates dont "near universally don't like her.", in fact, most of them are slowly coming to terms with the realization that they have been mistreating her for invalid reasons, possibly due to not being their own person/pack mentality (Layla, Zoe..) and some (Ben) are clearly having a change of heart and stating (verbalising out loud) that they now wish to stop being nasty to her for no reason because she doesnt deserve it. Even Micheal, who is one of the HMs who although isnt changing his tune with his behaviour/dispositon, verbally admitted that Estelle is the house scapegoat to be dumped on.. valid or not. (BTW im only going off what the housemates have said out loud about themselves in footage, not some biased re-interpretation that suits me)

I'm guessing you don't drive, Supermonster?

But he did tell a racist joke. Even michael says he did. He just says he told it in an acceptable context. She still took offence.

estelle all there?

No, he re-told the joke for discussion.

Either Estelle is extremely stupid, or is deliberately annoying, or is insane.
