Yes, you're right re Wade and Mario too. Which makes it even more sucky that Daviner has gone. I had her pegged for being in the final 5. I'm still in shock that she lost against Andrew.

Brendeb was back and seemed rather jolly!!

That was a crazy challenge. I was exhausted just lying on the couch watching them :D

Matt Preston has a doppleganger‬ who was in a 1952 film called The Happy Time!

I loved last nights challenge. I also like the picking of the teams.

It has made me want to go and stay in a five star hotel without my children and with the fella, so that i can enjoy luxury and quiet, and room service!!!

Ha ha ha Emma, they didn't want you jinxing their team. Man I enjoyed that!

What was with the Chef man seemingly being there the whole time? Surely he was not awake for 24 hours straight! God damn Andrew / Wade nearly messed the whole challenge up for the Blue team - idiots!! Can't believe Tregan trying to pass off the burnt bun! That would have been sent straight back if it came to me.

Let's discuss this red team 'curse' - I wonder if they do it to themselves psychologically or if the red colour causes extra stress (as it is apparently able to do) or if the whole thing is one big weird coincidence. (Red team was defo the weaker team last night though)

There are a couple of people I would be worried about as a jinx more than the colour of the apron.......

Lol, that's uncanny

It is lol.

Yes what was with the chef being there for 24 hours, weird. I reckon when they do those challenges they must give out the meals for free, I certainly would not feel like paying full tote odds for what is in essentially a home cooked meal delivered by inexperienced waiters.

MC & some other RTV shows, need a shake up around inflexible formats.

Right now MC could do with a cull of the crap......we really don't want to wait around for Andrew/Mario/Weepy/Tregan and anyone else who is invisible - Wade- or incompetent to get the chop.
Round up all the useless and shove them in a triple elimination.
Judges can just do a cumulative assesment - all those who burn buns and serve raw fish - over there & cook

I dunno, invisible doesn't mean they're crap. It just means they haven't got a "thing" (a hat, a propensity to cry at anything, tatts, being a bitch, religion that forbids eating pork, etc) and everyone else with "things" gets the screentime.

Remember Justine? We didn't even know who she was for the first half of her season due to editing. She didn't stand out as a contender until more than halfway through, then every said "how come we haven't seen her up until now?"

No sorry, because I allways really liked Justine and Andre so I noticed them the whole time.

But anyway, Wade does get a pass because he hasn't done anything stupid

I could always see something there with Justine and Andre - I see nothing from these people except for mistakes, comments 'that they have never done that before', an unwillingess to put themselves out there in the elimination challenges by hiding behind everyone etc etc

Did anyone notice last night all the girls checking out Andy when he was bringing the food around and then they just gave sweaty Sam a cursory glance - poor Sam :(. That looked like my idea of hell, fashion princesses that think they are evolution's gift. Pfffft

I didn't mean I couldn't see anything (ie: skills) in them.

I meant we did not see Justine AT ALL. She was merely a background character until about 10 others got eliminated, then she satrted getting airtime. I dinstinctly remember having this conversation at the time on this very website, lol.

yeah - that was funny, Andy & Ben looked like they were going to be eaten alive.
I really like Sam, and funny thing is he's the guy with the wit and charm in this bunch even if he is sweaty.

My bad Emcee - I am now picking up what you are putting down.

Having a partner who gets quite sweaty I really feel for Sam and his sweaty brow. I think he is quite the gentleman too.

Sam seems like a nice guy who is a half decent cook. It would put me off to have someone dripping with sweat serving me food though. I wouldn't eat it.

I enjoyed tonight. It was nice not to have to watch the Ben show. I'm getting sick of seeing him in every second scene. There is nothing extraordinary about him. Dear MC editors..Ben is NOT this years version of Hayden, stop trying to make him one.

Just caught up on the last 2 eps. Julia is quite the princess isn't she? "I'm doing this because it's what I'm good at".
And the bit where they all had to decide whether they wanted the next person on their team or throw them onto the other one drew some claws.
I think Filipo was planning something very nasty for Mario following his whinging about the calamari beaks...

The laugh of the night was when Mario was about to leave and he whispered to Julie "Win this" (meaning the whole series) and she replied "I will!" Tickets please.

I'm glad George pulled Mario up on his being upset at Filipo. George basically said to Mario that good food with a random beak will always beat shit food. lol. hmm..well cooked salt and pepper squid and a salsa which looked delicious vs leaves and some unappetising egg stips. hmm..hard choice Mario!

Good bye Mario, it was past his time. We have not seen anything amazing from him -have we?

Oh my lordy that Emma does my head in!!!!

They were pretty forgiving of the hair in the soup don't you think? Remember last year when Danielle (I think - red hair dresed 50's style) served up something with a dirty big long hair in it? I'm sure they gave her a harder time. None of this hey hair in food happens.
