Who does that baby belong to? The dad, a prince of something I assume - looks like a serial killer lol. It's like clark kent - when the glasses come off, except he turns into the dude from american psycho and not a superhero lol. Maybe he just looks too 'perfect' or something. I don't know it's offputting!

Earlier this year or was that last year?
SBS had a documentary featuring the royal jewels, ie European Royalty & British
quite interesting, how many of the jewels were either passed on, or sold/auctioned (the crown which Queen Elizabeth II wore when Obama came to visit was bought for $22,000 pounds back in the 70s? something like that, cant remember who she bought it off now) smuggled out of Russia etc
Also the documentary showed how many of the pieces were redesigned and/or had were designed/redesigned so they could swap different jewels, ie pearls instead of gems or gems instead of pearls or pieces could be taken out of crowns made into brouches, shorter lenght earrings or longer dropline earrings etc etc
I went to double check if this was the piece which was made for Napoleans first wife Josephine, yes

The SBS documentary has the Queen of Denmark telling the story of the Royal Jewels throughout history, our very own Princess Mary also was featured and her own set (she wears for offical engagments) story is quite interesting, and how Mary had her own set redesigned slightly to suit her own facial features and head lol
Queen of Denmark is a huge fan of redesigning pieces for multi purposes

Yes Kats...I saw that documentary....amazing how many of the "Russian" jewels made their way to other royal families and how many were "Lost" during the revolution.
I was rivetted...the jewels were fantastic...some of them were so gawdy that they looked "worthless" in a way

Medusa, yes "became lost during the revolution" lol
I agree, some of the pieces were stunning, some others not so stunning, but maybe that was as the photos were black and white? hmmm
When they showed some of pieces on their own I was like meh, but when they showed the same piece actually being worn.. wowers
I did a quick google earlier- the DVD Royal Jewels can be purchased apparently, didnt have time (school pick up) to google for a FREE online viewing of the documentary though.. usually docs can be found, youtube, google videos etc
and now I have to duck out again lol

bwahahaha. I think even Charlie would laugh at that, he apparently has a good sense of humour. Maybe Camy does too with the look on Mary's face with Camy and the gun photo.

The Queen is a great-grandmother again:
