Will the change of PM be announced to the HMs?

Labor are not rights at all. They're centre-left and Liberals are almost fully right. You hit the nail on the head when you said "Libs wear nicer suits". I'd expect that from a pack of arrogant wankers.

Labor are definitely centre-right, Libs are more to the right but Labor is definitely not Left at all. Their biggest faction in the party is a right wing faction, the only left-wing leader they've had for a while is Julia. Normally someone from the left faction is leader of the senate (this got swapped when Julia was PM and Stephen Conroy became Senate leader) while someone from the right is leader of the party with someone from the left being deputy.

lots of scare mongering in here but very little of actual substance.
if what has been said in this thread actually eventuates then they will be voted out at the next election.

the Labor party have not been centre left for a very long time. they were once upon time, but have slowly been shifting further and further right and eventually became almost a carbon copy of the Libs in order to counter the popularity the extremely conservative Howard government.

Fuck off.
Why are you here?
You said you stopped watching BB - so no relevance for you here, so stop stalking us piss off down below, we know what you think
trying to avoid your shit...........and you just have to come around like a bad smell, as if things aren't bad enough.:):(

Translation: "Angry cat is angry" ... but not angry enough to actually implement the "ignore" function of the forum mind you.

Therefore "angry cat likes being angry and having stuff to waa-waa-waa and swear about".

Anyhoo, how did you go with working out who your local member was and what electorate you were in ? Was I correct in saying that Oz doesn't vote for Prime-minister ? Do you agree that in the Oz system of government, the Prime Minister is only the leader of their own political party and certainly not the leader of the country ?

If you do agree Oz doesn't vote for or to have a leader then surely you must also agree that neither KRudd nor fabian socialist (yadda yadda yadda) Gillard were leaders of Oz and nor will (soon to be sworn in) PM Abbott be a leader of Oz, yes ?

If our democracy neither needs nor provides for A Leader would I be correct in suggesting that your problem is with democracy itself and that you want a political system that gives you a leader to worship and serve and where all dissent and things disagreeable to you are outlawed and Dealt With ?

If so, perhaps North Korea might be more to your liking, hmmm ?

How are Labor right-winged? I would love to hear some examples. I guess everyone has their own opinions but I don't see how they are anything like Abbott's mob.

You're correct. I voted for my local Labor MP with hopes that Abbott would be our next PM. I also placed a '1' in the "Australian Labor Party" box hoping that Abbott would be assigned.. Because by voting for a Labor MP I am definitely not essentially voting for Kevin Rudd to be the PM, right?

dont think either party will allow same sex marriage. in my opinion it will be done by the states and territories.

and they should not be told .

like cameronh said the Labor Right (or Labor Unity as they like to disguise themselves as) have long been the dominant faction of the Labor Party. they are fiscal conservatives and have far less regard for social politics than Labor Left.

No, don't need that. They had to vote as part of it being compulsory but bb shouldn't tell them any outcomes. That is outside info now.

There's no need to tell them directly but the producers could drop the hint by implementing an austerity program and so halve their food ration and pay.

I turned my TV off Friday, and won't turn it on again until BB Monday - I cannot bear it. I know it will be torture.
This is the first news I have been exposed to, I'm OK - breathe, I expected/knew the result. I don't need to be depressed and hear it was a landslide or anything icky.

Let's all pray - for Turnball, our only hope, throw that pretender out, and give us a real leader and a lib I may be able to tolerate, well at least he has a brain and isn't all about budgie smugglers & walking like a cockfighter - eww.

Oh that's it fellow lefties, he's our friggin PUTIN, all puffy chest wanking.

Okay, I'm a liberal supporter, but DEAR GOD, ABBOTT?!?! WHY?!?! He's got the morals of Putin and the mind of Bush. Can you imagine him trying to converse with the governments of China, Germany, France, Britain? I'm suffering anxiety just thinking about it. He's going to embarrass us big time :(

although like Bush he may be dolt when it comes to foreign affairs Abbott is a Rhodes Scholar with a masters in politics and philosophy and i think making the comparison is doing him a disservice.
morally i disagree with almost everything he stands for....mostly because his morals are largely based off his Catholic faith.

Don't think Tully will be needing that same
Sex marriage any time Soon. In sayin that the country should be sending the new
PM their views on the issue. Hell he has a gay sister for christs sake. It's bizarre to me that he takes this stance against the issue

Since Saturday night we have moved into an era in which the possibility of people like you and I getting anywhere near a material remotely associated with gold is zero. So, what I think you meant to say is 'plastic'.

Sounds like you're more of a concern troll, you've had years to decide between either coming to terms with Abbott being Liberal leader or moving on. Quit acting dumb.
