Lol! yes.

The sleep thing looks cool though. I tried a phone app for a bit but I dint like sleeping with the phone under my pillow plugged in.

The sleep was a MAJOR factor in me getting it, I already keep track of my activity, with other apps, but the cool thing is it syncs with MOST of those apps, I wish it did with CalorieKing as thats what I use to keep track of my eating, but I use run tracker for my jogging/running/walking and it syncs well with that, but not with weight training or experiment use unfortunately but I use my fitness pal too and that syncs, I just finding CalorieKing has a better database of australian food

Oh my God!

Well let's just say Togglegate nearly involved tears and stomping.

I am one of these people who truly believe I know everything. For example, my partner had some problems with his car, and he was looking under the bonnet, and out of no where I start to believe I can diagnose the issue, so I ask "do you think there is some shit in the carby?". He looks at me and says "do you know what a carby even is?". Short answer:- no I don't.

So I download the program from Mutts link and now I am trying to sync my Fitbit without reading or looking at directions, because well I know everything. When I think toggle, I think hanging down like a penis, so the toggle must be the dangly thing you stick in the wall to charge it, so I put the bit part in, stick it in the computer, and all it does is charge. Fucking great! I buy the one Fitbit whose toggle is faulty, much swearing, poking in and out of USB ports ensues. Partner comes down to check out the commotion, grabs the box, reads the instructions, passes me a little piece of untoggle looking tech and says, "this is a toggle". Short answer:- yes it was.

So I am loaded and ready to go! Only problem, I can't help but wonder that I might in fact not know everything...

You do realise The Daily Currant is satirical i.e. made up like The Onion.

Nah I'm restless so we will probably be similar!!! (Like so many other things :p)

Haha oh then I insist you do and post your sleep daily so people like mutz stop reminding me how shocking my sleep is.

Oh no :( Not judging, empathising though, you'd be buggared

The thing is I'm not though, I really think it's just become normal for me to feel this way. I have gone days at a time without sleep so I guess going to sleep each night is not something I take for granted.

At uni I was described as "never being asleep, but never really being awake either" lol just about sums me up I think.

Oh Jessy i feel for you, have you considered having a sleep study done? They might be able to tell you why you are a poor sleeper. I use to be a bad sleeper, had the sleep study, and found out the problem, and am ok now. You might have something like restless leg, or sleep apnoea. Sleep is so necessary for your body. Not preaching, I have been there too, would go to sleep at 2 am and wake up, now I try to be in bed by 10pm, but that took like 6 months to get into that habit. Good luck!!

The golf club next door is having a sausage sizzle bbq thing with fired onions 'n patties AND IT'S blowing straight into my HOUSE.....

The smell is tooooo much, mmmmmmmmmmm fried onions & sausages... I cant stop eating :hungry: the smell just keeps making me hungry :arghh:

Oh no, not preachy at all, I appreciate it. I haven't done a sleep study before, but I should look into it. I have spoken to my doc about it a lot over the years with moderate success levels, albeit only temporary ones.

I don't think I would have sleep apnoea, but restless legs is a possibility. The fitbit is good for reminding me how bad my sleep is, even if I'm not using it to change things at least I can be reminded to consider my options - like what you have suggested for example.

I do know some changes I need to make but am yet to actually do them. Things like a regular and reasonable sleeping time and absolutely no screens a good 30 mins before bed. But I'm a bit of a screen addict, so it's hard.

Thanks :)

Is 'restless legs' a thing? I didn't know that. Maybe I have that.

Restless leg syndrome, yeah. It sounds ridiculous and needs to hire a PR person to rebrand it I think, but yeah it's a big cause of poor sleep.

I'm not certain it totally fits me to be honest, but I have considered it.
@reepbot posted the periodic limb movement disorder, that seems more suited to you Jessy, did you say you have low iron? It is worth looking into further, and maybe seeing a specialist or someone. or sleep just leads to so much else in regards to health, Ive been there
