I voted but never posted lol.

I think I liked 2013 the best in terms of "House I would want to live in". That exposed timber and sweeping deck leading right up to the pool was incredible.

But yeah, I think in terms of actual house design - 03 takes the cake. They were really intelligent in the way they set up the round/square parallels and then the way they opened the house up post-merger of the two

I'm not sure they ever bettered the original BB1/2 houses really - big open plan spaces with gardens that were actually designed spaces in their own right rather than just a big open yard with a pool slapped in it. I was never particularly a fan of the kitchen and dining room being split off the other end of the garden.
I agree with this. Decor wise, it really needed help, but the layout was good.

Seven's houses were pretty ugly.

When Dreamworld opened up the original 2001 house for tours, I made sure I went and got myself a tour. As someone who lived in Melbourne, this was a special trip I made over a weekend. Of all the things, I distinctly remember the chicken coop and I was most excited to stand next to it and see that in the garden. Why the chicken coop was such a big deal to me, I will never know, but, for some reason, it was.

After the huge phenomonon the show was, being in that house was something I will never forget. The level of excitement for me was huge.

It is for this reason that I voted for the 2001 house ... back in October 2024.

However, I do still agree that the 2003 house was better.
