Another interesting thing to point out though, the Instagram thingy post listed two housemates in their 40’s as the highest age. Not be mean but Michael and Alannah look in their 50’s.

Mel and Sarah have said that the age range “spans four decades”, which most likely means 20s-50s. That scrambled post shouldn’t be used as a base for much, it seemed almost entirely a red herring.

This post from earlier in the week now raises curiosity why there’s 5 photos visible in the top row, when wouldn’t it make more sense for it to show 6 (so that the second row makes an even total, rather than offset it with an odd third row)? If there’s meant to be 12?

I just read back the TVtonight article to link things up and Mel says 12 housemates will enter at launch.
 
Someone was on the livestream chats a few weeks ago claiming that this would happen. We all laughed and assumed they were making this all up, they even got banned from the chat after BB called them out for saying nothing that was true.

And now they're right... Coincidence, or were they actually leaking info? 🤔

Also, looks like all the YouTube auditions videos have now been marked as Private. Just went to try see if any of the people on the voting page were on there.

Agreed, they should be checking these things and basically anyone with a social media profile shouldn't be allowed in if i had my way

Again, maybe I’m confused, but I thought they said they weren’t casting influencers? Wasn’t there something in the audition guidelines about it?

Radio or past media experience.

The people we’re seeing really aren’t what I’d consider “influencers”. I also don’t think recruiting is necessarily a bad thing as long as people aren’t being recruited solely on thier following. @BB12 mentioned agents… There are tons of creators out there especially on TikTok that do pretty much everything themselves and still work a regular 9-5 job. From what I’m seeing it seems like these are the types of people who they approached. As long as they aren’t trying to make this series Celebrity Lite I don’t see a problem as long as whoever actually makes it in the house is entertaining.

What an arbitrary number 🙄 I have friends who are about as normal and working class as they come who have a couple thousand followers. My TikTok account has 2000 and for the most part all I’ve done is repost a few things from other sources.
