I don't like Mikkayla as much as I used to, BUT
1. Justynn went in with an agenda to stir things up which he went about in a very nasty, aggressive way - his primary target from the moment he stepped in the door was Mikkayla as opposed to who he claimed it would be.
2. His first attack was a dig at Mikkayla about training Mr. Clooney. I think she's done a decent job for a non-professional given MC is a very active puppy constantly wound up by 15 or so people who are inconsistent in how they treat him - a tough job to say the least. Mikkayla has bonded with MC so of course it touched a hot button.
3. I don't believe Mikkayla ever meant to say she was a nutritionist, but she has clearly had cooking lessons. Yes, she has been controlling in the kitchen, but they all seem more than happy to let her cook for them. Plus, she had been wound up by Drew running tales back & forth & Justynn's attitude - she wasn't the only one, she was just the most vocal one - particularly when all Justynn's snide comments were directed to her (as opposed to Jade for example who was also trying to tell him the same thing).
4. The bracelet thing - Mikkayla didn't handle it very well in saying she told Jade not to do it, but let's not forget it was Jade who sent her on the mission to find out Ed's reaction & opinion of her - when he started to brush it off I expect that it was just Mikkayla's natural reaction to deny involvement rather than look complicit. Don't see why it's such a big deal.
5. Mikkayla & Tahan have a particular dislike relationship going way back & they both bitch about each other equally (understandable). Both are hypocritical about it in their own ways.
6. It's quite clear that Mikkayla can be bossy & bitchy, but on the other side of things she is obviously kind & caring & willing to do anything for any of them, even Tahan. The edits she is getting, for whatever reason, are consistently unfairly negative.
7. The "genuine" line-up task was intended to cause conflict & it did - would you have been happy if they had all agreed. The problem with the word genuine is that there are a lot of subtle undertones in the interpretation & which people take the interpretation that they feel best represents them. They are both genuine & not in their own ways as are ALL of the other HMs. Additionally, there was a lot of that task not shown. It obviously went on for some time. The Daily Wash referred to a Tahan "outburst" that we never saw (Tahan's edits are looking great comparatively lately), so we can not really be sure what Mikkayla was referring to in her bitch session.
8. Regardless, I'd much rather watch the Tahan & Mikkayla wars than the Ed-Jade pathetic "romance" or the SS giggling & squealing.
