Where Are They Now?

David was a drug addict? I cannot stand nasty drug addicts. Parasites of society.

From Kyle & Jackie O's Website:-

Where are they now?
Remember Reggie, Merlin and Jo Ashton? Find out where they are now.

Surfer dudes
BB4: With a deep tan and blonde dreads, Paul Dyer was the ultimate guitar-strumming surfer. He is remembered for having a verbal blowout with former refugee Merlin over the issue of becoming an Australian citizen. He now works in a surf shop and apparently released a single.

BB3: Daniel "Saxon" Small is remembered for crying "I want my Mum" when the pressure of being nominated got too much. He was famously linked to Gretel after being seen in public with the host on more than one occasion. Saxon claimed that he was at some of the BB4 shows (with Gretel's help) to learn about television production. The two parted ways by mid 2004 and he has not been seen in the media since.

Sexy Chicks
BB1. With blue eyes, a perfect smile and a penchant for lip gloss, Jemma Gawned was the original Big Brother Blonde. Jemma was a TV reporter for a modelling show before launching a successful cosmetic business that is still going strong.

BB3: Jo Ashton sauntered through the BB house in Pink Uggies and Undies. She scored a regular gig modelling for Ralph and dabbled in some TV hosting. Bragging that she was a 'smarty pants lawyer' throughout the whole show, Jo moved to Queensland and recently married the love of her life Ross Hams.

Gay Guys
BB1: Right from the start, cute personal trainer Johnnie Cass was out of the closet (his profile mentioned marching in Mardi Gras). After having bit parts in several movies, Johnnie headed back to the gym and started working with several charities.

BB6: With a killer mullet and groomed brows, Rod Rigley was the first gay intruder on BB. Quickly joining Camilla and David to become 'Team Faghag', the hairdresser had an increasingly tense relationship with Jamie until they made peace in Week 9. Bringing his bitchy sense of humor to late night TV, Rob co-hosted The Up-Late Game Show with BB5 housemate Hotdogs until he was given the sack for unruly behaviour on-air.

Smarty Pants
BB4:

Merlin Luck attracted controversy by taping over his mouth and revealing a secretly-made banner which read "Free th Refugees". The opinionated housemate finally became an Australian Citizen and continues to protest against all that is bad in the world.

BB6: Tim Brunero was the clued-up runner-up of BB5. Best known for his strong left-wing views, the journalist caused many heated arguments in the house. He is now writing a book on his BB experience and publishing magazine and newspaper articles.

Aussie Battlers
BB2: Nathan "Marty" Martin was the loveable farm boy who finished runner-up in BB2. Nathan and fellow housemate Jess shared their love with Australia through a short-lived reality TV show. They became BB's first and only married housemates only to divorce18 months later.

BB3: Regina Bird was the Tassie bogan with a Fish & Chip shop. After taking out the series, Reggie found it hard to return to the fryer, divorcing her husband and moving interstate. She finally landed her dream job as an airline hostess but quit after claiming her colleagues were "jealous bitches". By 2006 Reggie reclaimed her battler status; unemployed and out of prize money.

Tables turn on Work Choices company

By Elisabeth Wynhausen

ESSENTIAL Media Communications - the company that ran the highly successful campaign against Work Choices for the union movement - has been dogged by allegations of bullying and harassment.

The media management company was behind television advertisements, such as the one in which "Tracey" tells her mum her bosses have threatened her with the sack if she stays home to look after a sick child.

Some of the company's former employees also have grievances about their treatment by their bosses.

One former employee said that six out of 10 journalists working at EMC's Sydney office left within about two years.

Some cited impossible workloads while others alleged they were belittled and bullied. Former Big Brother contestant Tim Brunero was among those who left the company.

Sources say Brunero was admitted to hospital with duodenal ulcers after working for EMC.

Brunero said he could not discuss it. "I can't talk about my time at EMC because I signed a deed of release covering my time there," he said.

In answers to questions about the allegations of bullying and harassment, the three EMC directors, Elizabeth Lukin, Peter Lewis and Tony Douglas, told The Weekend Australian: "We value our staff and believe we have attracted some of the best campaign and media managers in Australia. Whenever there have been issues with staff, we have encouraged them to seek union assistance."

Journalist Phil Doyle, a former EMC employee, said he had been employed fulltime on an individual contract in 2005. "The campaign against Work Choices had started by then," he said.

The company responded yesterday by saying: "Prior to having a collective union agreement, our staff were employed on common law contracts based on the award."
