When will they change the 'EYE'

To answer your question... I think Nine and the producers have made it pretty clear that they would rather stay the course with the show rather than make substantial improvements... As it sits if the show were to return there are more important issues that need to be addressed... While the current logo isn't perfect the minor improvements over the last two series have made the eye look much better than it did in 2012...
In the past whenever the graphics package has changed it usually marks a new creative era for the show... BB03 was the first update and was the first major sake up to the format... BB05 was the defining series of the Kris Noble era... And lastly BB08 was meant to be a complete creative revamp of the dying format...
At the end of the day if a change to the "iconic" Channel 9 eye is made it can't just be for the sake of changing it... The series also needs to move in another direction...
