When will they change the 'EYE'

Hello everyone, I hope this is how you post a thread.. Cause if this ends up posting then I'll earn a better understanding of how to communicate on these forums...

Okay so I have noticed that it is a Big Brother Tradition to change the main eye/logo every few years of the show, about 3 years or so... Anyway I have noticed that for some reason I quite dislike the Big Brother eye these days... I mean it is so alienated and robotic to the fact that it's got such a lack of the Australian version these days...

Ever since the show was brought back during 2012, now we have turned the original aussie eye into a UK gimmick which I find to be completely disorganised and lazy... I mean if the show continues they'll have to change the damn eye at some point?

I mean if they change it, I hope it's not for the worse... Why couldn't they continue off with some other design? Like the cubic eye or the 2008 one? Make a few tweaks and updates to the older eyes to make them look ready for the new year of the show? Seriously though I'm excited to see whats in store for next year...

If they still have the same eye though in the Launch or TV ad next year... then this better be the final year for that eye to be displayed as the Big Brother logo...

I'm sure I've seen an updated image version of the old Australian Big Brother eyes somewhere.

It looked like a cross between the cubic eye (2005-2007) and the (2008) eye... But it looked much better suited than the eye they currently have, why couldn't they have used that eye?

Just because they are on a new channel? Seriously the Nine Network means they must change their damn eye? I'd like to know what the Big Brother Producers would do if they were forced to transport back to their home network: 'Network Ten' and what they would do with the Big Brother eye then?

Seriously there are so many possibilities to the Australian Big Brother eye and we don't need a copy of UK... Wake up Big Brother!

We are in an Australian country.. Not the UK! Just because one of the Big Brother producers were born over in the UK do they think its right to change the bloody eye into some robotic gimmick?

No, but if I were Alex I wouldn't be complaining about the damned Big Brother eye these days, Alex and Chris think they have time to copy the UK eye whilst making a few minor tweaks, to ending up by not even making a proper Daily Show to me is slack on there behalf...

Also all they had this year was a disgraceful amount of episodes of '56' and compare that number to a Channel Ten Big Brother series and you would receive double the amount of shows and episodes included in that one year!
 
You see I understand that the producers want to show that the Big Brother program keeps on changing and has to change every single year rah, rah, rah but don't they see by copying another countries eye is basically slacked off for the show and it shows that the producers of Big Brother and the programmers are just plain old lazy because they can't handle updating one of the older eyes since they are to scared being on a new channel for their program.

Why are they scared to take risks for? Do they think they will get fired from the program? Seriously they are behaving like moronic, idiotic fools who have no care for the program.

These days the program is taking a down-hill in the ratings.. Lower since the 2008 series of the program. I can't wait to find out how the ratings of the program will be next year unless they improve the quality and durability of their show then they could be seeing a height lift in their ratings for the show.
 
I can't agree with you more @Mav, the eye definitely needs to be changed next year or the year after, I mean it's been about 3 years with this eye so far, don't no how much longer they'll continue with it though let's hope that it does end up making a great change but not any worse.

Thank you @eddy04 for your input and I totally agree with your comment as well.

I remember they once used the really old original eye for about 4 years in a row since the first ever series of Big Brother in Australia it could be the same for this UK copy cat eye they have nowadays..

But if they manage to keep it for 5 years in a row I would seriously be fuming in disgrace with the producers of the program.

Actually I wouldn't want anything different at all that doesn't relate to an Australian Big Brother eye from 2001-2008 where they were the Aussie Big Brother spirit of a Big Brother Australia eye.. That's when the programmers used to be good and hard-working with their job.

Not like these days with those producers copying everything from the producers home-town in the UK.

Much better then the rubbish UK eye they use in Australia which should belong in the UK and stay over there and not go near Australian Big Brother.
 
This was the eye that Nine originally had when they started up the Facebook page. Much like the "good old Australian Big Brother eye" you speak of

Yes!!! That's the one that I was talking about before in my post where I was looking for the mix of (2005-2007) and (2008) eye that was very good and I'd prefer that over the one that we have on Big Brother Australia now.

Thank you for finding that eye I really needed a pic because I forgot where it was located at first.

The "casting special" from 2001 had a short piece about the creation of the original eye.

BTW, is this John's brother?

And seriously, there's a lot more I'd be worried about FIRST than what the eye logo looks like.

Have you noticed both our Avis have eyes? That is quite a coincidence don't you think?

In fact EVERY post in this thread has at least one eye in the avi.
