When did Josh ever have a personality?

I keep seeing people on here refer to Josh as losing his personality, becoming a pod person and so forth. All since Ava came into the house. Yet I for the life of me can not remember Josh ever having a personality. Ever not being a boring pot plant of a house mate?

Am I just completely forgetting some personality filled contributing house mate? Or are people just following the line of house mates referring to Josh as being boring now because he now spends less time playing with them?

His personality is that he's too cool to care.
There might be one there but we are never going to see it. I think he's kind of a Jeff Spicioli character from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I've always found him boring... but the few things he did in the house before Ava are not there anymore.

I think Josh pre Ava was Josh around the guys. Josh post Ava is Josh around a girl he likes.
