It also reminded me of when we were Teenagers, too young to go to the Pub, we hung around Shopping Centres on a Thursday Night :)

Might be the small step needed to approach the dating scene.

With all these recent drownings in the surf, I want to actually experience a supposedly deadly rip. I've been in a rip before, but it just took me out to sea and swimming back wasn't a problem.

Yes you can use multimedia with your speech. We have a computer and a projector at our club house where speakers can show slides with their speech.

Google maps says it is about an hour. I might take some pictures of my trip if I think about it.

I forgot to add, that if you know what to do when a rip takes you out - that is the way to handle it. As long as you can swim and have that knowledge and not panic and trust there are no Sharks around LOL

It is sad hearing about drownings when floating is so easy. We used to have competitions of holding your ankles behind your back and bobbing with your nose centimetres from the surface. In the surf it's pretty funny.

Yep. Basic swimming stuff, is the float. I never took part in one of those competitions!
Sadly, some people underestimate the strength of the Ocean and Water in general - Rock Fishing and Boating...........
oh and swimming pissed!

Yeah the ocean is very powerful.
 
It will be great if i do make a new friend with that cascade gardens hanging out thing even if it doesn't work out romance wise.

I have a good feeling i could be making goood friends in toastmasters. Just a hunch.

Is the Cascade Garden a Shopping Centre - I just Assumed it was LOL

eah the TMs might be the beeknees - you get to meet people who are passionate about writing and they have friends as well ;)
 
I just looked it up - looks like a nice spot. A park is better than a coffee shop or a shopping centre, for that matter LOL. Are you taking the doggie? :)
