yep. that is good advice. i will write, write, write. a novel sounds good.

drawing is not one of my talents. i am purely a stick figure person.
 
i was reading a online article a week or so ago about superbowl performances. It talked about Michael Jackson's famous 1993 appearance in which he helped to change the course of what those half time shows were about. But that wasn't the interesting thing for me. What was the interesting thing was how one of the NFL bosses was saying that Michael Jackson practiced harder and longer than anyone before or since. Now in 93 Michael was the number one performer in the world. He could have been lazy in practice and put on an ok show. But he didn't He gave it his all.

I hope he doesn't go either. My exposure of Molly was from Hey Hey when he used to do that music segment. I have seen him on countdown on youtube, plus that famous incident where he interviewed prince charles.

yeah, 73 is not old. though my nan and pop both died in their 70's.

MJ was awesome. Always someone was ready to tall poppy him.. He sure did. Such a sad loss :(

Very sad. When i think about someone like MJ i am glad that i will never be as famous as him. Having all the eyes of the world on you. Knowing you can never live a normal life. Everything you do is magnified at least a thousand times by a ravenous media pack desperate for blood.

Speaking of scum paparazzi, i was watching a documentry about famous news reports, and one of them was about the death of princess diana. and they talked about how they were trying to escape all the photographers, and then tragedy struck in a Paris tunnel. Anyway they showed pictures of the scum leaning over the bridge and taking pictues of the crashed car with Princess Diana still in it.

My Dad went at 66 - so sad :) That was 20 years ago - Mum is still strong at 85 this year - Life is like that - WRITE WRITE WRITE and put it out there, somehow, for an Illustrator - both my sisters are arty but in a different way - I have someone in mind though ;)

Sorry about your dad. My grandma is turning 85 this year.

And the Mayor of Geelong was one, in the past :(

Maybe he retired after that.

I couldn't either - the closest I have done is my avatar was my own drawing one time, and my own eye another time. Speaking of avatars I am loving your new Tina pic - she looks gorgeous!
