What would reepbot say?

Thank you. As I inferred above Im still not really up to the sway and movement of the forum. If people do the alias thing I would think it would be pretty easy after awhile to see it clearly. Writing style. Sense of humour. Specific topics. And most importantly an intent will become clear. Might take 20 posts, maybe 50 but alias accounts will always reveal themselves.
There are always distinct patterns.

the movement of this forum is kind of like a squiggle to me. i have gotten confused too many times on here lol.

here is my toastmaster speech @delcan, @Isee, @Mooseface, and @Fuzz. i might change it a bit later. but i still want to keep the core of the speech intact. please don't hold back in your criticism. i welcome it.

I have always wanted to be a jelly bean. Even when I was growing up I always had the desire to be a sugary treat. Whenever people asked me: ‘So what do you want to be when you grow up young reepbot?’ I would reply back to them: ‘Why I want to be a jelly bean of course!’ with a beaming smile. They were of course shocked at this development as most children wanted to be firefighters or doctors. No one wanted to be a jelly bean. Mainly because it was impossible to be a jelly bean. But I didn’t care. All I wanted to do was to be able to turn myself into a jelly bean anytime I wanted. Their laughs and expressions of ridicule on made me even more determined into realising my dream of being able to be a jelly bean.

Of course I do want to be able to transform from being a jelly bean to a human anytime that I liked. Staying as a jelly bean or a human for just too long would have just seemed far too boring for me. Having the freedom to be able to change into a jelly bean or back into a human whenever I want is very appealing to me. I don’t want to be stuck as a jelly bean for the rest of my life. That would not do. Being a jelly bean might be fun for like an hour or so, but I would want to change back into being a human. I can’t listen to a Tina Arena song or read an Agatha Christie book if I am just a jelly bean. I need eyes and ears for that, and unless I am very much mistaken I am pretty sure that a jelly bean does not have that. I also don’t want to be a human for the rest of my life. I want to be able to change into a jelly bean whenever I feel like it. If I am feeling bored I could amuse myself by changing into a jelly bean, and when I had enough of being a jelly bean I could just simply change back into being a human. Or if there was an unwanted visitor at my front door, like a pesky salesperson, I could just turn myself into a jelly bean until they went away. Those are just some of the many reasons why I would want to be a jelly bean.

But how do I become a jelly bean if it is impossible for me to do so? A sensible person would have given up this dream a long time ago. I am not a sensible person though. No. I will continue to try and discover if there is any way that I could become a jelly bean. I have tried to do as much research as I can about this through the library or the internet, but surprisingly there is very little information out there about it. For some strange reason people are just not interested about human-jelly bean transformation. I remember one time back in high school when I tried to raise this issue in one of my classes. Before the class had even started I went to the front of the room and tried to talk about human-jelly bean transformation. Of course this did not get very far as my fellow classmates and teachers quickly berated me for interrupting their history lesson. Feeling rightfully ashamed of myself I quickly and silently slunk back to my desk. I realized then and there that it would be hard work convincing anybody of how serious I was about this issue. So over the next decade or so I fruitlessly tried to not only find some more stuff to do with human-jelly bean transformation, but to also develop some theories in regards to the issue. On both fronts I am failing due to lack of content on this subject. However I will continue to try and discover more because I know that I can be a jelly bean.

Now as for the colour of the jelly bean. That is a tricky choice. There are so many wonderful colours that I could be. Green, purple, black, orange, yellow, or white. But I think that the one colour that I would most like to be when I turn into a jelly bean would have to be the colour red. Why, I hear you asking, would I choose red when there are so many other wonderful colours? Well it is simply because red is my favourite colour. I do like and appreciate other colours, but for me red is the one. It is the one colour that I would like to be when I finally become a jelly bean. For I want this moment to be special. I want this moment to feel fantastic, and the only way I can do that is by being a red jelly bean.

Hopefully one day I can turn into a jelly bean. I know that right at this very moment it would be impossible for me to do so. However who knows what the future holds. Maybe in fifty years we will all be able to turn ourselves into jelly beans?

And that concludes my speech Madam/ Mr Toastmaster.

i have decided to review all 43 episodes of 'Press Gang'. i will watch an episode then i will post a review of it up here. my reviews will just be obsevations of the show plus maybe a few little tangents relating to that.
I actually pictured that as your first immutable job self-description. If you build it, he will come.

I enjoyed that - i like your imagination! One thing I found about writing speeches is you have to write how you talk more than how you write, which it sounds like you may have captured. I will be interested to hear how the audience reacts :)

The two are inseparable in my mind now :)

Thank you. Do you mean being able to write in a more conversational tone?
