The frown is meant to indicate that I am, as Inigo indicated to me, a sad person for posting on Christmas Day.

Yes. I had a nice day with my mum, thank you. Got some presents. Plenty of food. I was the only sibling there. But best of all.....

I GOT THE NEW TINA ARENA ALBUM ELEVEN!

ELEVEN!

ELEVEN!

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

:(

Do what you want. #hatersgonnahate. Things mean different things to different people. Be yourself and don't let people make you feel inadequate because you are who you are.

Yay for Tina Arena, and no you are not sad for posting today (well no sadder than I am!) Not everybody's Christmas is an overwhelming full on all day family affair, and many of us are happy to not have it that way![DOUBLEPOST=1451040519][/DOUBLEPOST]
And like anyone who is doing any family thing on christmas needs more food! Alcohol quite possibly though :)

Yes, that is true. It was a pretty simple affair today with just me, my mum, her partner, his son and grandson, and my grandma. It wasn't full of cousins, aunties, uncles or anything like that which I liked.

:( (Ignore this).

Lol, yeah, I was thinking to myself that I couldn't imagine anyone going through an airport today and going "damn, I'm starving!"

That is true. I think it was the case of her maybe not realizing or understanding that not everyone has or needs the same level of constant socialization with other people. That it can get overwhelming sometimes. Not that I am saying it is a bad thing talking or interacting with other people. Infact there are times when I do enjoy it. But every time I inteact with people in real life a cup of water is poured into my socialization bowl, and it keeps on filling until it spills over and I have to go away to fix it. Her socialization bowl is probably bigger than mine.

So yeah, no more frowns.

when I was a kid I used to climb on top of my wardrobe, or hide beside my mums side of the bed when the family got too much at Christmas and other events. I think I have a small socialisation bowl too!

Well that's good. I'm glad it was peaceful for you. We didn't have our christmas lunch to about 5 pm, so it was more like a Christmas tea.

Top of the wardrobe sounds like a great place to hide. But yes, sometimes family can be too much I think.

Ours was about 4:30 :) And in case Hooley Dooley asks why I didn't go help a charity today since I don''t have kids, I do have to say I work for charities as a job, so today was a day off - I worked yesterday, and back working again on Tuesday. One Christmas I would like to work at a homeless shelter, but they do actually usually get a lot of volunteers at Christmas.

Here's a new years res for you reebot. Stop blaming others, and stop looking for sympathy by blaming others. Own yourself. Because in the real world, nobody really gives a toss what you do or don't do.
Most just can't stand the whining.

I actually did a bit of research last week and yeah, all the volunteer spaces at soup kitchens, homeless shelters etc. were filled for Christmas Day and it seems they fill up really early (like June).

That sounds delicious. Would you have them on a plate? I mean keep in mind that as a unicorn you don't have the same dexterity. So you may need to improvise.
I would have a beautiful pile of river-stones that the dynamic beige crackers would delicately balance upon, so i can whip out my tongue and curl it round the crackers, and flick them into my mouth. The next cracker would then rise up out of a secret spot on the stone, and my tail would wrap around a cord and pull it to squirt the blorange on top. My hoof would just tap a button when I have had enough.
