That Hillsong Church really is no place to be celebrating Christmas this year. The Royal Commission into child abuse said the Church's founder had inappropriate dealings with 8 children. His son, the Current leader of Hillsong Australia avoided his responsibility to report his Father's shocking actions to police and was involved in hush money bribes. That sure is one Church that I would not be lecturing about 'normalising' legal behaviours from the moral pulpit, when the Hillsong 'normal' involves despicable acts against children.

Because upstanding conduct is paramount and Bleachy's association with an organisation engaging in systemic mistreatment cover-ups and failures to report, as found by the Royal Commission into child abuse, is not OK.

I didn't think bleachy was Hillsong? I thought it was a different thing?

Officiousness? I meant why not post it in either a more general threat OR make a more specific thread. Just seems a bit random plonking it here with no context. Unless I missed the context. How do we know bleachy is Hillsong? I have to say I Do Not Like those really ra-ra evangelical churches. I don't like them BEFORE they have committed crimes. Although I suppose it is not just the ra-ra churches that do that. Sigh. I can tolerate the non-ra-ra churches though, I guess - if they DONT commit crimes that is.

Unfortunately there are despicable people in this world, who then drag other innocent people into their corruption and deceit under the guise of religion.
