I dont like angry people but you would be surprised how right they are most of the time. I guess thats why theyre angry.

that's true. i'm sometimes angry. but my anger isn't the showboat kind. it's a cold anger. although i have in the past had a bit of a hot temper.

10- COLUMBO
images

"Wow! Who knew that the cat burglar was an actual cat?"

I love watching 'Columbo', which is pretty obvious as I have placed it in my top ten. But I am not talking about the brilliant mysteries with the twist where you know who the murderer is, nor do I mean Peter Falk and his legendary performance as Lieutenant Columbo. No, what I mean is that I loved watching the scenerey in the show, seeing America, or more specifically Los Angeles, in the 1970's. Watching all the different fashions and the way the streets were laid out was really fascinating for me. It was like a little history lesson in which I also got thoroughly enraptured and enthralled by this superb show.

One of the other things I like about 'Columbo' is the way that he is very persistent in catching the murderer. How he never ever stops until he captures him and her by pure intelligence, stubbornness and a sense of justice. He does this by asking a lot of questions. I too like, no scratch that, I love to ask a lot of questions. I just do. Not because I want to capture a murderer, but because I am very curious. I am curious about how people relate to each other, how they relate to me, why some people liked that movie, why that worked, why that didn't work, what i am, who i am, why i am, what you are, who you are, why you are, and a billion different other things. I think it is tbe writer in me, the writer inside me that is obsessed with people.

9- ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE

This was the best Christmas that the Meldrews had had in years.

Death is something I often think about, and watching 'One Foot in the Grave', apart from being very funny with some great storylines and wonderful acting, often reminds me of death. Not sure exactly why, maybe it is because of the title of the show, or the dark nature that this show can go into sometimes, but it just reminds me of death. Which is strange for a comedy show in some ways. A comedy is meant to make you laugh, it isn't meant to make you laugh and also make you think about death. But that is why I like this show so much, because it manages to do both of those things.

With thinking about death, i think about many things. I think about what it would be like if i died, and if i would like to die quickly or slowly, but that soon becomes boring to me considering that if i am dead i would likely not give a fuck about anything, not even something as trivial as how exactly I would die. I also think about how i would cope or react if one of my family members, say my sister or mother, suddenly passed away. And the truth is i don't know, i really don't know at all. But i often play those doomsday scenarios constantly in my mind, just imaging over and over again horrible stuff happening. Which I don't think is good, but I don't really know.

8- THE WEST WING

"Yes, you with the novelty size foam finger."

Politics is something I loathe. I hate talking about politics as I find it boring with the way they all waffle on and on and on and on and on about something or the other while they completely avoid answering the question put to them or the important issue that they were meant to be talking about. It just makes me sick seeing how sneaky and hollow they all are. How devoid of even the tiniest soul that they seem to be to me. So having a show like 'The West Wing' with its heavy political storylines may come across as a bit weird. Well I say thank you for the compliment. But I watch the show not for its political content, but for its outstanding writing and brilliant acting. For me hearing Martin Sheen and John Spencer deliver the dialogue of Aaron Sorkin is a delighful treat. The way they deliver his words and make them their own never fails to impress me. But there is another reason why I like this show, and that is because I find it very inspirational the way they fight for what they believe in to tbe bitter end.

I like being inspired. I enjoy watching a movie, or hearing a song and just getting goosebumps listening to that note or watching an intense emotional scene between two actors. I think I do that because as with most people I can appreciate when a piece of art connects with me. I, even though I may not articulate it at the time, know how it makes me feel. About how it moves me in ways I can't even comprehend to myself let alone complete strangers on the internet. But seeing art as great as that, seeing something so indescribably breathtaking, inspires me to make my own stories. It lifts my soul up soaring on the waves of inspiration and enables me, it pushes me through its soul and through its emotions to go and write something, to write anything. Doesn't matter how bad it is, but just to keep writing and pour your heart on the page. Just let every emotion out, every emotion that you ever had stored inside of you that was waiting to come out. Just do it.

To be honest, I read this whole post and the only thing that made me laugh was the 'gifs of that chick' and the only part that made me angry was the 'interacting with reepbot' part. Everything else I didn't really care for or didn't find good entertainment.

3/10

Oh yeah. I almost forgot.....

STOP BEING MEAN TO HER!
