What would reepbot say?

I didn't have to read the idiot's guide as much as For Akira. I so want to love Akira, but it's too much information in such a short time.

Reepbot, you must see Paprika. Mindfreak.

On an ad for Araldite glue, they glue a toaster to the wall. Do you think it would take 2 minutes or 3 minutes for their suggestion to burn down your house?

You are the actual one who is ignorant. Words hurt which you have been using as a big point in the BB Housemate antics thread. "Ass Burgers" is a derogatory term being used more commonly in recent years as a insult to people who have Autism and Aspergers. Aspergers people have no way gone through the brutality, oppression and torture that gay and black people have gone through. I didn't say that. They do go through their own struggles though. My point is that the word "ass burgers" is derogatory like those other words.

It is very un-PC to use those words about gay men and black people these days but because Aspergers is a minority group that really only has been known for about 10 years in the mainstream news it seems it's ok to use "ass burgers".

Back in the day it was socially acceptable to say P....a and N...a. Think about it.

Imagine if your nephew heard you say and/or saw you had written the word ass burgers. I imagine he would be terribly offended. I am surprised that someone who has experience with a family member with AS would use that term.

When I log in tomorrow I fully expect to see a typical message from @Trala which insults me and tells me my opinion is wrong and that I don't have a clue of what I am talking about. The thing is I know what I am talking about and in the right. You can say whatever you want to me but my opinion on this will always be valid. I hope one day you get your ego and behaviour in check because sooner or later you will be pushing most on here away.

So go ahead, hurt me, cut me and serve me round the table. You seem to enjoy making people offended and upset. Give me your best shot.

Sorry for ruining reepbot's thread again. I won't be replying to this thread anymore unless I want to ask @reepbot something and get involved. Trala should post something tomorrow and then this thread will be back on track. ok, everyone, good. :writing:

Oh dear.

You are just desperate to be outraged aren't you?

Sorry you had to wait so long in wounded anticipation for my reply, but I was embracing and enjoying my reality.

You are right, your opinion is valid, I just disgree with it. I 100% disagree with the nigger/poofter/assburgers comparison you used and that's okay. Life still goes on. No need for the drama and the hurting and cutting and serving up like a cake. I disagreed with your comparison. It's okay when people disagree with you, Lucas. And as a side note, I also disagree with your point regarding those slurs being "socially acceptable". It was never socially acceptable to call a gay man a poofter, or a black person a nigger "back in the day", as you earlier stated. It was an abusive term which was used in order to dis-empower, abuse, shame and further segregate. I also reflected on what you said, and agreed with some of it regarding my inappropriate language, and apologised in my very next post. So I guess the big question is, what more do you want?

I really think it's time you put me back on block, Lucas. Your dramatic defeated victimised "I am leaving this place for a LOOOOONG time" mentality mixed with my direct and confrontational nature obviously isn't good for you.

You let me worry about how I am viewed in this forum or if my personality is "pushing people away", and you just focus on learning, love and laughter.

Again, sorry I offended you by using the word Assburgers, but to add some perspective, if disagreeing with a relative stranger on the internet is the worst thing to happen in your day, it's still a good day.

What's the most horrifying thing I have read today? "I am a nurse".

Surely not an RN? How shameful for others.

Cannot imagine working alongside such behavior and lack of emotional control.

It's a great shame given the obvious talent for wit and humor at times.

That's my, rarely-stated, opinion. Sorry about that.
If that really is the most horrifying thing you have read today I implore you not to open today's paper, because seriously by page three, your head will fucking explode.

You seem to have confused me with Jesus, so let me be the first to clarify. I am a flawed human with an extra big mouth who sometimes says the wrong thing and does the wrong thing.

Thankfully for you there seems to be an underground movement in here to have my nursing registration revoked, so maybe you can join their petition and add "she once said Assburgers online" and be proactive with your offended outrage.

Either way, good luck with it. And for the third time. Sorry if me using the word Assburgers offended you.

My 16 year old Asperges Syndrome suffering nephew introduced me to the word Ass Burgers, telling me "Southpark made Asperges funny". Rather than be offended by it, he chose to see humour and be empowered by it, and we, like him, were amused by it. Because of this, our whole family uses the word Assburgers. I see on a forum, that fact is outrageous, and I am sorry for any feelings I hurt.

The topic of Asperges only arose when one forum member raised it as a possible reason to excuse another forum members very poor behaviour because he has been diagnosed with the condition. This irritated and offended me because we as a family never use my nephews diagnosis as an excuse for bad behaviour. Given that my nephew has just started a school based apprenticeship as a plumber, is a great all round sportsman and is well supported and well liked in his school and community proves we can't be all bad as role models.

Off season forum life can be so exhausting. Who would have thought a keyboard, an internet connection and a half a dozen bored reality starved faceless nicknames (me included) could be so mind numbingly irritating?!

WARNING!!!!
Not for the faint hearted!!!

I'm very happy to see brave people posting positive things. (I originally posted positive thongs, but I've learned to edit.)
So am I, darling.

I particularly like a positive thong with a sprinkle double meaning and a hint of passive aggression. It wins the internet every time!
