I won't pollute the Tim Dormer Blabs thread, but why are people surprised? The network was yelling at Alex to fix ratings. Alex gets Tim on a plane and into the house to stir and intervene. It was going to be Tim's intervention or the producers. Many reality shows have more producers and story developers than contestants.

The bottom line is even if they didn't make requests, they could do the same through edits, anyway. The editors are working to the same narrative.

Nothing was going to save that season. When you start poorly and piss off both the casual and the devoted then you might as well accept your fate.

Witty is right. A good show. I only get see it once or twice a week. Did see snippets of yesterday. Witty, was it the bloke from Newcastle on it? Mandarin with geordie. The mind boggles.
