I can give you some questions I remember from trivia night if you want, first to answer - would that work???

Michael, Michael, Michael from Melrose, I so love him he is hilarious - and the other proper actor in that show, mad Marcia being the other (proper Juliard training, and theatre, and dramatic resumes)

Love Judi Dench

I liked mint magpie much better than chair. I do like your unexpected turn of phrase. That is not at all what I imagined a Toastmasters Speech to be like - but there you go.

yeah the normal way of toastmaster speech is just retelling something that actually happened to you, or talking about an interest like trains or something like that.

i showed the speech to my mum and she liked it.

I quite liked when the original Melrose Place turned from drama to OTT melodrama in the second season. Twin Peaks, any first season episode, when Felicity went Twelve Monkeys or Passions when Timmy was a winged monkey.

those are good choices. that first ep of twin peaks was almost cinematic like in its shot and execution.

Trivia question - what is the only element that can be solid/liquid/&gas?

Clue re supermodel, she just got married

@Witty Banter, @delcan, @Fuzz, @Mooseface, @Isee what is your favourite tv episode of all time?

I was going to say that is a very difficult question, but then I remembered I am on a Big Brother forum and there was one episode that I was looking forward to more than any other episode of any show ever - the night Tully was evicted. This site went into meltdown. It's probably the shared experience of it that gave it more joy. It was a party atmosphere. I think that's why we all enjoy it so much when we find shows we like that we can watch together on here. It's a community here.
