If you could travel to anywhere in the past where and when would it be and why?

For me it would be Watergate around 1972-74 in Washington just because I found that so fascinating. How that incident more than any other represented the public's complete and utter distrust in Government. And the weird thing was that they didn't need to do it anyway. Nixon was going to win the election by a healthy amount. But his paranoia, savage bigotry, and his pathological need to be liked contributed to the wiretapping and the creation of CREEP. As someone who likes writing I find Richard Nixon a very interesting character both of his bad and his good traits.

I'd go back to the 90's. The Cold War was over. 9/11 hadn't happened yet. I could listen endlessly to The Backstreet Boys, The Spice Girls etc. and really it was a peaceful time in Australia at least. Actually Australians thought they were awesome because we won heaps of Gold medals at the Barcelona and Atlanta Olympics, we thought we were pretty special and we stopped realising how lucky we were. Early 90's then.

Yes, the 90's were a good time. Peak Tina Arena, great cartoons, wonderful animated movies, TLC, Press Gang, plus heaps of other stuff.
 
Sorry, @Affable - Scheana is the worst. She's throwing her own husband under the bus, and she bitched non stop about Stassi Season 3. Katie is an idiot being friends with her when she is a far bigger bitch than Stassi. Katie is stupid. At least Stassi has style and grace, Sheana or whateverthefuckhernameis is super manipulative towards Lisa. Yep, Lisa is super biased towards Sheana, but Sheana is an attention seeking, self absorbed, obnoxious piece of shit who has no respect for anyone around her. Give me Stassi anyday who gives zero fucks what morons think about her
 
The love meee bit i obviously mean. But i can't care about that because caring makes you desperate and there is nothing worse than being desperate so the only thing you can do is to supress your feelings, just supress all of your feelings deep inside yourself. If 2015 has taught me anything it's that the one who cares less will win.
