If I was serious would I have called her 'Swammy'? I save my compassion for the people who deserve it.
Just wondering .........
What is your interpretation of compassion?
Who deserves 'your' compassion, as in why?
Just wondering - as you have stated here before, you do not have feelings, as such ............. like posts about when your family dies .........
Just a conversation topic, for those that maybe interested ...........

Compassion to me is something i can only feel when I am close, or have felt close, to the other person. That can be either online or in real life. For me when I feel compassionate towards someone I feel close to (or used to), I feel like, even though they may sometimes be hundreds of miles away, hugging them (and I hate hugs) because I feel like my words will mean so little.

I respect that answer, but curious so will ask the next.... So you don't feel you could or have had compassion for a stranger/someone you haven't talked to or met (eg someone in a news item, or a homeless person on the street?)Compassion to me is something i can only feel when I am close, or have felt close, to the other person. No. But I don't like hate them. I just don't think about them.
My immediate thought was how can you not think about them, but then I remembered that it is not until I worked in an area of the city where you see them daily that I got to see, think and feel something about what just seemed like an abstract concept in my mind before that.No. But I don't like hate them. My thoughts tend to be very narrow.
I guess that will help hone into what types of things you want to write about! My thoughts tend to be very narrow.

I actually think it can be really beneficial. My mum used to go to an equivalent and it certainly made her a lot more comfortable with public speaking. And she met some wonderful friends. However they were all quite old!
Ok. Well i guess if i want to make friends my age that would be bad.
May just need to check what the average age of the people in the one you want to go to is!Ok. Well i guess if i want to make friends my age that would be bad.

I will. You can visit before you join apparently. Is that what your mum did?
