the way of the future!
I just accidentally on purpose found a facebook profile of a distant ex. She totally went the safe and boring option, I see. I used to spend university holidays at the family beach house, 3ish months, and she didn't do beaches apparently, so it was never going to work.

Mooseface on the moon selling moon pies!

Me: Hello, yes please thank you young moon mooseface. I would like one moon pie.

(Moon mooseface hands me a moon pie.)

Moon mooseface: Here you go.

(I start to eat the pie but suddenly stop with a disgusted look on my face.)

Me: Eurggggggh yuck. This pie is way too salty!

(suddenly moon mooseface reveals herself as ghost mooseface!)

Me: Ghost mooseface! It was you all along!

Ghost mooseface: Yes it is I, ghooooost moooooosefacccce! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

ahh ok.

i have never really gotten seriously into facebook like with real life stuff. i have used it for games and big brother information gathering. to me i would just feel a bit restricted because i would have to be safe and boring.

though i read somewhere that people can get a bit depressed seeing other people do so well via their facebook updates without considering that they are only looking through a person's highlight reel. What they want to show you.

Not in this case. I watched that person turn psycho at Hong Kong airport for having their bag rejected for being a bit big. All I had to do was ask check in staff to OK and tag it and everything was fine. Not only that, my bag was fine and she was telling airport security to disallow me for getting through OK. Thanks for nothing and my bag was measured and fine.

how can i tell the difference between someone wanting to be my friend in toastmasters to someone just making conversation?

sounds stressfull for you.

No. I have not. Have you? If so what is it like?
Why, yes. It's green and beauuutiful. Much like parts of the hinterland. Not as good as blue of course, but green is good too. You could be living in the middle of an old volcano. That's if you like volcanoes.

yes the hinterland is beautiful. very inspirational in terms of story ideas (as is this forum at times!) i do not like volcanoes. they concern me.

i had a look at the website for the mountain and the climb is about 8.8 km up and down.

It's a serious committment to the top. I'm more like, OK an hour each way, then lets go for lunch.

Good thing it's extinct if you don't like them. There's a great big f****r likely surrounding you!
