So given that the nature of the original I’ve always wondered how she’d end up handling this song post divorce and I guess I now have an answer… Honestly I prefer this version. Also her bio-dad must really be a piece of work as this song is a follow-up to Because of You which she originally wrote at 16 as a means of coping with the fallout from her parents divorce. Anyways the song starts around the 1:55 mark.
