What music or songs are you listening to?

She's So Unusual was the first album I ever bought. I saw her a couple of years ago. She played the entire album from start to finish. She was good, but she spent more time telling stories than singing, and got badly heckled for it. She can talk!

I love this one ...

I have such good memories of this song. As a kid I was allowed to go through a 15 year late uncle's garage estate every Friday. Mad magazines by the pile, blow darts, army gear and Luna Park/ABC props.

Random song connection. I had a day job programming outside San Francisco, but I hooked up a cool second job as overnight caretaker of a wheelchair bound guy with CP called Sebastian. I would false serenade him with the Pirate song in jest. He was completely up for Australian/English humour and we had fun teaching his black bus drivers the highest camp English mannerisms while they had New Edition blaring on radio. They were great sports, some of them never having left California and interested in the world.
