Ten years ago my mother was told her remission was at an end. I dream of her most nights and we talk about life. I have spent my whole life loving her. This is the song I heard often as I went to and fro to the oncology ward. I love you Mum. I miss you.

 
To my Dad ..... I always wondered why this song was so impressed on me - I even taught myself to play and sing it!

I know now, he used to sing this to me ..... how would it have been impregnated in my soul?????????

That's a lovely tribute to your mum Jam. Take care. You too Hooley. I know it's hard. My Jeff Buckley/Bob Dylan post was for my mum. We said goodbye to her on Valentine's Day 18 years ago.

My mum loved Joe Cocker, but she loved Bob more ... ;)

 
I know that in the last year or 18 months this site is all about one overly wankish woman who sounds like she wants to be a man

but I cant fight a dead fish anymore
