Listening to the Schools Spectacular on ABC2, it's so good!! /sarcasm

They had old footage of Miss Connie from Sneaky Sound System from years back, was LOL-worthy.

The semi-finals of Melodifestivalen start in February. I've got a few faves competing. Can't wait! Woo! :D

I only recognise Alcazar out of the swedish entries and I giggled. I think the singer of BWO is super pretty though. I haven't really looked into it beyond that though, until the songs are out I'm not really looking into the entries too much.

Other countries start in January, Denmark will have selected their Eurovision entry by the 31st of January since it's when the Dansk Grand Prix final is or something. Quite a few countries are like that from what I saw. So hurray for some amusing songs and entries in the comming months :D

Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands - Bob Dylan. Into the 10th minute now. Long song.

I haven't actually heard any of the Melodifestivalen entries as yet, so I'm only going on the artists I know. I love a bit of Alcazar (I miss Magnus in there though), and BWO, they're trashtastic! Can't wait to hear the duet between Anna Sahlene (who I'm a huge fan of) & Maria Haukaas Storeng (not as much a fan of). I hope it turns out better than their impromptu burst of Waterloo. LOL.

I also love Velvet, Sarah Dawn Finer, Marie Serneholt (I keep hearing positive things about her entry, Disconnect Me), and a couple of my fave Swedish Idol alimni, the fabulous Agnes Carlsson and Mans Zelmerlöw. Amy Diamond is alright, but she's just not schlager enough. Bitterly disappointed E.M.D didn't make the semi-finals. :(

***EDITED***
Just discovered that E.M.D have been added as a wildcard!

Led Zeppelin III - Immigrant Song.

This concert was at the Sydney Showgrounds in February 1972. Thousands of people jumped the fence. I would have been one of them, if I wasn't only 4 months old at the time. :(

I adore PJ Harvey and that's my favourite album by her. This Mess We're In is my fav song. PJ Harvey + Thom Yorke = love

Currently listening to Kelley Polar's album "I Need You To Hold On While The Sky Is Falling"

I'm also listening to The Mess We're In too - in fact it was the last song I listened to on my ipod today.

PJ Harvey makes me want to switch to the other side in that video. ;) She's certainly got something.

Randwick Bells by Paul Kelly. So pretty, and very calming which is what I need, since I just got back from the hell on earth that is Westfield Shoppingtown.

I'm listening to the most divine song ever. And I am rightly pist. :p Merry Christmas everyone. Listen to those strings ... Absolutely beautiful. :)
