Hehe. Funny you should say that because with your comment earlier about hearing one you have heard them all - I think there is no band that epitomises that more than the chili peppers.

There's a funk and soul in RHCP songs that your garden variety rock band lacks and it's extremely evident in those tracks I posted.

This is right up there with the best rock songs I've ever heard:

Not all Murikan hip hop is shit tho, some of it it's very much worth listening to. It's where the genre originated from after all. ;)

To date I've yet to come across an aussie mc that has 1/1oth the musical and lyrical genius of this track:
