I recently stumbled across this unreleased gem on my FYP and was like FUCK it’s really too bad this version of Gaga is dead.


Then a few weeks later I find How Bad Do U Want Me. It’s really wild to me how much Mayhem is this crazy collaboration of all her eras but in a mature way.
 
This is some Kelly Clarkson level ownage… Like I don’t think in the history of Idol that there’s ever really been someone who’s become so synonymous with a cover they preformed on the show like this. There have been some very memorable covers over the years but I can’t think of anyone who’s “owned” a song so well that it actually becomes theirs.

 
I’m soooo obsessed with this right now… If you don’t know Marina IMO her magnum opus is her Electra Heart album and I’m 100% convinced she’s been resurrected for her new era Cuntissimo 💅🏻.

She’s even released teaser art with her wearing Electra’s signature 🖤 on her cheek. Which if you didn’t know is where one should always wear their heart, unless you want to taste defeat, which is a line from her song How to be a Heartbreaker.

 
👆🏻One thing I love about Marina is her ability to write music that even through its filtered through her perspective as a woman it’s so fucking relatable. “I should be mother fuckin’ crazy” - as someone who struggles with mental health, due to trauma, etc. and who is often told they can be an acquired taste IDK that line just speaks to me.
