I’d love to see this run through a Kingston circa early 2010’s translator
Happy birthday Kingston!Today as I turn 40 I’ve been sort of reflecting and wondering how the hell the past 20 years have flown by so quickly. The picture below was taken at my 20th birthday celebration and while it definitely looks 20 years old, I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Lollies containing meth donated to Auckland City Mission, distributed in food parcels
The Auckland City Mission was alerted when a parcel recipient reported "funny tasting" lollies.www.rnz.co.nz
Seriously, someone set out to kill a bunch of needy people and/or their children? Really? That's despicable.
That's terrible. There are some truly awful people around these days.Today my partner and I went for our usual walk around the park.
It's a haven for all types for birdlife; black swans, geese, parquets, cockatoo's - black and white, crested pigeons, ibis, coots and all sorts of other pond/lake birds I'm not sure of what they're called.
There is a 3KPM speed limit, and "normal" people stop, slow down , avoid any type of bird or birds, crossing the road. Sometimes one at a time sometimes in large groups.
Today while we were walking, about 15/20 coots were crossing the road to get back to the water when a car going way faster than 3KPM came down the road, didn't slow down and ran straight into them! It was horrifying to see. The bastard drove on having had no intention of slowing down or stopping. There was no way he wouldn't have been able to see them. I yelled "arsehole" after him - for want of something better to yell at the thoughtless ****!
The few that were hit, thankfully went under the car, not under the wheels. I'm shocked that someone could be so effing ignorant.![]()
I've felt upset about it all afternoon. Those birds were so beautiful. I'd have been devastated if any of them had been squashed. If we'd have been quicker and less surprised we could have got his number plate and reported it to the Ranger. That's terrible. There are some truly awful people around these days.
