Today I ........

Holy mother fuck i am SSSOOO pissed!!

So! my sister & her kids are visiting our mother for a few days over the school holidays (same state, just a few days, staying in, no sight seeing etc)
My kids are hanging out there while i work for the cousins to play etc etc. My daughter told me last night that my sister told her that "we" don't like your mother, she doesn't make an effort to get along with "us". Now, i know my sister is a mega mole, however i do NOT pass any of that onto her kids. The kids are cute n all, cos, well, they're kids. I am FUMING that she'd make my kids feel inferior. What the actual fuck?! I told my little babe that we are perfectly fine how we are, we (meaning our fam of 4) are content & love each other. We *know* she is nasty, and to call me if she makes her or her lil bro feel uncomfortable.

So it was hilarious the time I rode up on my bike wearing my mask for the first time. One of them started barking at me, then stopped for a second like "Ohhhh!", as he realised it was me. You could see the penny drop. A couple of the young guys who live there burst out laughing at that (and me too). Wish I could have got that on video.

LOLs!! that would have been so cute tho when the pup did get that recognition. ^^ This lil guy in the snap is adorable!!!!! I keep scrolling up to look some more🐶:happy:

Here are all three. They have Khmer names but I call them Lucy Titswobble, Lucky Licky and Buddy. They live with one of the monks who does take good care of them, and two cats. Unusually, he asked me to spay Lucy after she had puppies which all died. Also spayed his two cats for him. Most Cambodians believe it's bad karma to spay animals because it's 'interfering with nature', so it's really good that the monk was prepared to take that risk.

Part 2 of my sister #themegamole....

SO! me & the kids were talking & i was reminding them about social distancing etc etc cos their cousins are from a more populated area. I said at least Aunty MegaMole is talking the covid seriously, and i filled them in that when i first saw her, she was sitting on the lounge & I went to give her my usual air hug, and she gives me the death stare whilst putting her elbows out and basically looked something like this >>>>

THEN *shock**horror* my miss informs me that Aunty Megamole not 10mins after our strict no contact policy(and after i'd left), corned both my kids & hugged them tight with her tentacles. Like what the actual fuck?! my lil babe was all, mum - she was pulling me in that tight, my face was squished to her boobage. *shudder*

I got my kiddies back last night, we had a 30min debrief. My lil mr was still traumatized by her squishing him ungodly close :dead: My lil miss said "When aunty Megamole starts walking towards me, i just want to turn around & jump off a bridge to escape her." Me "same babes, same".


P.S. I'm still giggling at Lucy Titswobbles name 😂

OOOOoooohhh aaaahhhhh - imma have to wait til home time to watch this. My head office has utube flagged :(:(:(:(

I check my fb at lunch time on my work computer. One lunch i got called away to reset a machine, just minimised my fb. Came back, finished lunch, forgot fb was still there til home time.

Next day, i couldn't get onto any internet explorers etc, but *could* access my work program which is internet based. Yep, they gave me a time out from the internetz for too much fb time LOLOLOLOLOL. Don't worry guys, they had to give my access back straight away cos i'm the only one with the work online banking access (apart from the manager, but he's in there NEVER, so is useless :bag:)
 
Hi Y'all - So i'm gunna go slightly conspiracy theory on the covid (yes, i know there is a dedicated thread, i didn't want to derail the seriousness with my wot da fuckness) (PLUS i'm *still waiting* to pop out a popcorn+watching gif for the @MADONNA v @Consuela show down in there - seriously Connie - madges diss of you was both hilarious & stinging & i'm busting to watch your reply cos someone needs a slap down )


So - What i'm finding odd, is on my fb, i have a few friends from around the place (not thousands) and i've seen NO posts of anything covid related at all. Like when NZ had an earthquake in 2011, my fb was flooded with info on Christchurch etc almost instantly & continually for weeks. I've probs only got 3 or 4 New Zealanders on my fb, with all but one living in Australia. The info i was seeing was from everywhere.

I *know* covid is real, but why is the realness not being shown/shared on fb?

Coops - I also am no longer seeing Covid stuff on SM, but I did see a lot more in March-April. It seems like everyone's mentally moved on from it. Which is half the problem, and maybe why we are seeing this spike now.

urgh - that's what i was thinking too, a majority are "over it" and moved on. Makes me sooo cranky. We've just got to look at the U.S. with their high infection numbers now. crazy sad.

Hope you've been having the best life during your forum absence :)

Todays feels............... Tax is done. Now i'm dreaming of my dollars that will be left over after being a responsible adults & paying bills. Nah, whom i kidding??!! I'm treating myself FIRST - Now.... what do i wants most?............

OMG good for you, I don't want to think about it, but I'll have to eventually. If someone can recommend a good accountant who will do it for under $200 please let me know as I have a complicated one to do. I finally sold the apartment a dearly departed friend left me so I have capital gains (and losses) to report. I don't want to pay too much tax as there are literally tens of thousands of dollars at stake.

Today I ...have a viewer coming to look at my shack. Hope they buy it. I have five hours to scrub it up. Currently have four kittehs staying temporarily and of course they love bringing in lumps of dirt, dead leaves etc from the balcony to play with and spread all around the place. They're about to get evicted to said balcony so I can vacuum and mop the place.

Some ding-a-lings i work with haven't done their tax for 3 or more years! Hmmmmm I wouldn't know who or where to start recomendations for you. Are they any ozzie ex-pat fb groups for where you live now? Cos does Australia still want to claim tax from you or your current country that your living in? (I'm from a small country town. My accountant is my older sisters one-time-high-school-crush. Kinda funny cos she liked him cos of his long surfer hair. Now he's just short, fat n bald 😂 annnd my tax & the Mr's are straight forward)

Oh I once went six years without doing a return and I finally caught up before I left Australia. Cost a fortune in late fees. Including tax I owed, all up I had to pay the ATO $9k, and that was after the guy let me off the final $900 late fee.

I usually do my own online, but this one is particularly tricky because I sold a deceased estate I inherited after renting it out for several years. There's all these calculations to establish what the capital gain is, and I am worried if I try and do it myself I might miss something and end up paying a lot more than I need to. So that's why I need an accountant. My last one in Sydney did a runner, they literally abandoned their office several months after I left AU so I no longer have a specialist on the case. I hope he wasn't dodgy!
