Tim vs Ben final 2...how would you vote?

Didn't Ben '12 do that and yet people hated him? Benjamin was very strategic (he even nominated his close friend towards the end, Zoe) and he was entertaining. Like Tim, he also stirred up some conflicts in the house between other housemates (although Tim was the worst one).

So I don't get why Tim is liked for his behaviour and Benjamin wasn't?

To answer this thread, I also want a nice guy to win, like Ben. Tim seems to be 'putting it on' way much more than Ben and yet people can't see it (look at how theatrical he is during nominations these days - he wasn't like that in the first weeks).

Ben 2012 was a bully and quite nasty.

Tim is playing a game but he isn't victimizing people using bullying and isolation tactics.

Ben was all about dividing the house, rallying people against certain house mates through school yard/ work place bullying tactics. His approach was to make the people he didn't like miserable. Make someone like Estelle have no friends and be miserable in the house. Decide they are going encourage people to be actively horrible and isolate her.

Tim is trying to get rid of people, but he sure as hell isn't being a horrible bastard like Ben2012

A live feed video I watched this morning of Ben and Tim filling the milk made me realise that Tim ALWAYS goes to tell a story but then stops and says "oh no I shouldn't say this" just to get the other person to beg him to say it. Ben called him out on it and as much as I like Tim, it's really starting to bother me!

Frankly I'd be happy for either of these two to win - but I voted Ben just because I know everyone on here hates him for no reason

That's his performer side coming out. It's a way of building up what you are saying, making anticipation.

It's a brand of the god awful Australian radio brand of performing. Just act as if what you're saying is amazing and it'll sucker a lot of people into think it is.

Hamish and Andy are kings at this non humor. Have someone laughing historically to back up that what you're saying is clever, smart, witty and funny. When really it's a case of just saying something and it doesn't matter if it's any of those things. As long as the audience is responding to the conditioned reaction that what they are about to hear is amazing and funny.

I am so happy you've noticed. Tim's supposed cleverness is based on a formula of which this kind of taunting is just one component. But the blind will not see...

I do NOT support Tully but instead have fallen madly in love with her.. the gods, you know, the gods. Tim I do not HATE. Do you take me for such a fool that I should hate a mere fata morgana? One does not hate inanimate objects but simply ignores them.

Yeah I admit I do find Ben entertaining but mainly I am laughing at his expense. Tim has openly admitted to playing the game and has provided a great deal of entertainment. I find it hard to believe Ben is such an invalid considering he was once a flight attendant and lives alone. I think if he won $250000 he would simply go back to his old routine of having afternoon tea with his mother whilst listening to Bert and wanking profusely. I just don't think he deserves it.

At this stage a Tim vs Ben showdown seems a very likely scenario. Who would you vote to win and why. Even if your favourite is another housemate who would you throw your support behind out of these two?

Just to clarify: Favouring Ben over Tim is not equal to being a Ben supporter. Lesser evil 'n' all that y'know?
