I've grown to like Tim. Playing a really smart game. Reminds me of that character on Survivor in Russle. Would they be good to watch on the one show.

I've said this a few times now, Ben looks as though he's playing a role to win which is another clever way to win. In a few tasks his accent has changed from the girly voice to a real mans man voice and seen him with a ocker accent as well.

I see on the home page that Ben is a stand up comedian. The gigs he's going to get after this ends.

Tahan says what she thinks and about the only one doing that which is another good strategy,

The rest are playing a really quite odd game.

Quite happy if Tahan, Tim or Ben win as they've really played it hard and very well.
Pity Justyyn went when he did. Could they bring him back now that one walked off into the sunset ?

I'm a bit surprised that no one else thinks about winning and gone in there with no game plan at all.
Surely if there is a chance to win $250,000 you better take your A game into the house to try and win.

I agree outlast, outwit, outplay! Tim is out here and in your face .....Ed is a shameful player. Ben is just...I love my Mum and my Nan and I was A Hostie.....Tahan is awesome as well by telling it like it is!

Russell was an awful player though. It was like he was completely unaware of how the jury system worked, he went out of his way to treat people terribly and then seemed surprised when they didn't vote for him to win, no other player in Survivor history has frustrated me more than him, haha. I give him a 9 for tactics, 0 for social. I just wanted to tell him "dude, a great player should be able to back stab people and do it in such a way that they hug you on the way out..."

I think Russell Hantz is the best player of all time in regards to getting to the top 3 and positioning yourself with the people who you have the best chance of winning against. In Survivor Samoa he dominated the game all the way to the end and he positioned himself with a female who did not earn her way to the end, Russell took her with him and a male who nobody liked. In Survivor Heroes vs Villains he dominated the game, got to the end and positioned himself with 2 females who had previously won. So like I said, I think he is the best player of all time in regards to getting to the end and positioning yourself in the best way possible. Overall though, Russell has to be one of the worst players ever because he literally had no chance of winning every time he played. He was an entertaining character though. At least Survivors other most notorious villain Jonny Fairplay has a good enough social game to earn some votes.

And not one iota like Tim.

Tim is loveable, that Russell is a pig - and clumsy dire, Tim is nimble delightful

Oh yeah I definitely give him credit. He's even gone on record as saying the jury system is no good because you get vindictive juries, and I'm like "yeah but...that is the way it is and you knew that going in", and it's a balancer that without which would completely change how the social game works. But he was a great contestant and on a different season with a different jury I think he could have won.

Anyway, I don't mean to hijack the thread!

To address the rest of your post, OP: I think BB is more like politics, it's about flinging shit without getting any on yourself, so to speak. Tim does this pretty well but he's not as subtle as he thinks he is. It's a long game, long enough for people to catch on. I feel like there's a tide turning slowly, just from comments here and on the Facebook page etc. And this Boog move of his is terrible, look what happened when Michael did that.

Tahan's game is interesting, "keeping it real" is dangerous because it does leave you how it's left her, looking bitchy. I wouldn't mind if she won but just a little restraint from her would be good (she just needs to avoid mocking-Mikkayla's-eating-type stuff, even her biggest fans would admit that didn't paint her in a great light). BB culture loves the word "genuine", but it doesn't have to mean "say whatever you want and everyone else can die". You have to pick your battles.

Ben's a tricky one to call. I think a lot of what we see is a big part of his personality but he amps up certain parts. The funny thing is, on paper I would never have expected him to go well. There's all these parts of Australian culture, which I hate but they're there, which emphasise manliness and not crying and what have you, so I really wouldn't have picked him to resonate with people. I mean your blokey types are probably not watching BB, but just people in general don't usually respond well to someone like Ben. I don't know how to interpret that.

Russell Hantz is a terrible player. He had a good first season next to idiots and still didn't win. He's been riding the coat tails of good editing and Survivor PR since, and has still failed to win in any of his reappearance.

Boston Rob. Sandra. These are your Survivor players to applaud, not Hantz.

Where the two shows differ, of course, is the public vote. Tim may be pulling strings in the house but the public sees it all, and the BB producers have not been shy in showing all of Tim's gloating machinations. He has no chance to win against a public and producer's favorite - Ben

Regarding the OP title, I bet Tim makes about 50 predictions a day to different Housemates, just so he is ALWAYS first to say "I knew it!" He's made many other predictions that have not panned out at all, but statistically speaking he's going to get a few right eventually.

Russle was great at getting to the end but like Coach didn't have an end game.
Cockran last season had a good game plan on survivor and actually won challenges which was
a big surprise. People that go in with tactics and a good end game tend to win.

Russle first season was nothing short of brilliant on how he controlled the game but his speech to the jury
where he told how people had to go was terrible. If he had been more tactful he would have won.
He got the $100,000 for people's choice award.

Russles last appearance on survivor was pathetic.

Anyway back to Tim and BB 2013.

Tim's played the game like no other and now getting more courage and speaking to the other
contestants like he does in the diary room. This is a big game changer. The other contestants
seem confused at what Tim is saying and how he voted for the lawyer lady over Boog.

Tim a week or two ago suggested he though a player would walk and that has been proven correct.
Its not a world first as BB suggested. It happened on celebrity BB in the UK in 2011.

Sandra is the only player that won survivor twice. More luck than good management it has to be said.

Boston Rob third time round got the dough. The second time round Russle stumped him with trickery.
Russle played a great game but lacked social skills in talking to the jury like Coach did.

Tim said a player would end up walking from the game a week or two ago. He really did one on Justyyn which I didn't like at the time and said that. It is a game which only 3 seem to be playing which really staggers me.

It will be very interesting to see if Tim says all the right things when he finishes in the top 3. You can have a great game
plan to get to the end but one mistake where something is said in jest and doesn't go down well is enough to cost you the game and the cash.

If Tim plan goes to his head and starts to gloat how he got to the final three like Russle did on Survivor that could well cost him votes from the public to win BB.

The dynamics of the house is going to start changing after the next eviction. Voting patterns wills start to see Jade, Mikk and Drew up constantly until they are gone.

I think Tim got a shock to see the first 3 nominees were Ben, Tahan and himself before another two chimed in. Can't see Tim voting for Ben or Tahan next vote. He'll go for Jade and Mikk juts so he can get to the final three. And if Jade or Mikk had any brains they would vote for each other because they should know if they get stuck with the big three then they'll be gone.

I suspect Jade will vote Drew and Tahan next vote.

The three I suspect will be the first up next week barring any ties will be Tahan, Jade, and Drew. Jade will then go and the following week it will be Mikk that goes.
