THE VIRUS 2020 - the good, the bad, and the ugly

I have always worn a face mask whenever I leave the house even when all others weren't wearing them in the community. I was getting the weird looks in the shops but I just always know eventually there will be another outbreak and there will always be people out there that probably have this virus and don't get tested you have to protect yourself and don't rely on government advice.

I reckon all those that gave me those weird looks at the shops now would be thinking, gees that guy wasn't that dumb after all taking extra precautions when out and about with what's happened now. Oh well at least now when I go out for essentials everyone else is also wearing face masks so I don't get those weird looks again at the shops for a while...lol

Only thing is I need to get some damn special power steering fluid for my car. All the retailers have gone back to click and collect again. I wonder if I stand at the entrance to "Super Cheap Auto", "Autobarn" or even "Repco". Wave some cash and say hey there can I grab a bottle of oil mate? LOL!

Gunna give my two cents worth from a few pages back. I don't necessarily like or agree with what Credlin has to say, but I actually don't mind when affable posts them because I enjoy hearing a different point of view from my own. Sometimes it helps challenge my thinking and keeps me questioning my thinking to see if I am being swayed by what I have read or heard, that is likely to be more left leaning than credlins views. Not saying I will go to her views, but might make me do a bit me research to make up my own views.

100% agree with this.
We all have different life experiences which is why we all form a different view of the world.
If someone has a different opinion, embracing it and understanding it is far more beneficial that dismissing and attacking it. There are some absolutely ridiculous views and opinions posted here all the time (in my opinion), but it heaps me gain a better understanding of society by seeing them and challenging my own thoughts.

What is it about her that inspires such sympathy, even from those who I thought were rational poster? She's done it before and I find it fascinating to watch.

Sorry, you are wrong
Here is your context (and Drumpf is on tape saying he knew Covid was deadly in February 2020)

Context. The downplayed threat is not that he knew everything. Woodward himself came out and said the context was not Trump misleading on purpose.

You’re avoiding the key fact that they listed the original exposure site as a shopping centre in Epping rather than the correct shopping centre in North Epping. This took about a week to rectify and by that time it was too late for people to isolate and get tested to prevent further spread. The virus had already infected many people by the time they rectified their mistake.

It is their fault 100%. Victorian‘s are dumb though. They would not recognise a competent government at all.

Is the explosion of cases and exposure sites because someone listed the wrong Epping Woolies? I am not aware of that being the case. If it was, that's a major fuck up. As of now, all we know is that was an error. Last I read there was only one known case linked to retail. No idea where that location was. The rest were close contacts in family or workplaces.

So an error, but not one known to have caused this mess.

As for your Labor voting comment: I think you’d vote for them even if they did build an injecting room near where you live.

Why do you say that? You know nothing about my politics. I don't subscribe to the tribal games with this stuff.

Funny how I am the bad guy yet Peta Credlin just last night called for Anthony Albanese and Dan Andrews to be whacked on the head by a baseball bat. She attacks people every night on her show yet people here aren’t outraged and aren’t calling her out for attacking people with a different view to her. It’s just not the way to do things around here. Well sometimes you need to call out bigotry and harmful opinions.

I suspect these posters who don’t share my views are on the Liberal side hence why they are so offended by my original post. Heck some of them are big stans of the NSW Premier who is corrupt. I can’t really trust their opinions on morality. It’s all forgiven if she keeps the economy going. So laughable about your morals.

No that's stupid. There are some opinions out there that are so wrong that you should not be giving it any ounce of credence or respect.

Like yours then.
Thanks Columbo. Have a great day.

And I don't expect my opinions to be treated equally. Just like I don't expect any rational posters to treat Drama, a troll who has posted bigoted opinions that got her banned on one of her previous six or eight accounts here, and her trolling opinions equally either.

That has literally nothing to do with me, or why you called my opinion stupid.
And I'm not interested in an argy-bargy with you about your beef with other forum members.

Yes it does, it's exactly what the whole thing has been about. Don't claim ignorance now.
