It is a concern when, with the encouragement and help of blantantly bored shit stirrers like yourself fuzz who treat affable as your own personal dancing monkey, it overtakes threads such as these where the main topic slowly becomes forgotten.
 
Statistics are a fickle mistress that lures us into complacency. As I said, 'infection and death rates are not the only factors that have to be considered'. I didn't refer to any figures. Your focus on figures alone deflects from the intention of my message.

The lack of co-ordination is where misleading figures originate. We shouldn't be surprised, considering different types of infrastructure, different approaches to border closures, ways of living and last but not least cultural and traditional priorities and sensitivities.

I am far from complacent when it comes to covid. Anyone visiting this thread is not complacent. I do want my knowledge to be evidence based and that site was an example of where I start some of my learning from. I was genuinely asking what you were referring to. I wanted to understand what you meant as what I have looked at so far has not given me what you are referring to. As for stat is only one thing, yes it is, but it is an important thing. Without data we cannot measure change. Measurement in turn should influence and impact the way a we act and decisions made. Numbers will never tell the whole story but they can tell you a lot.
