The Saturday 'rest day'

I don't see the issue with rest days (feat. no daily show filming) because it allows the crew to take a break and drives viewers to the livestreams.
Echoing @UnderTheRadar, the problem is the live stream’s almost unwatchable this weekend, presumably due to having a “lite” crew on hand to run the house and feeds properly.

Given that we aren’t seeing any credits it’s only safe to assume the producers for this season are likely from other copycat shows such as love island, married at first sight, survivor, et al. They’re just bringing this nonsense “modern” reality format with them from their prior experience. I know one producer did the early 10 days, but I’m led to believe they either don’t have much say or their attitude shifted during their career.

At this point I think it’s wise for 10 to contract producers such as Peter Abbott, Kris Noble (if he’s still alive), Nick Colquhoun, or even Alex Mavroidakis back to breathe some life back into the format. Say what you will about their respective seasons, but they were a step above some of the nonsense we’re seeing currently.

Yeah it was very much like that on the show I was on too. We had successive days of not being able to do anything except watch Netflix, eat, read and sleep as we couldn’t have our phones/internet nor access to any live tv or radio. Got so boring at times! At least Big Brother doesn’t seem THAT bad.
Were you on Drag Race?
