Only When I Laugh

Looks like you've done the best part of them.
If anything springs to mind that you've not mentioned, I'll get back to you 😊

The Liver Birds and Man About The House.
They follow each other and are both set in Liverpool.
Haven't watched liver birds but seen an episode of man about the house. Actually I saw some episodes of its American remake threes company. Quite dated. And one of the actors did this weird thing where he'd say something, usually offensive, and then look straight in to the camera like he'd just said the best thing since Shakespeare.

Never liked Three’s Company. I think they crossed George Roper with Archie Bunker to get Stanley Roper.

It was too angrily political. Kingswood Country was the dumbed down Australian version, but it was tempered by the fact that Ted Bulpitt was more a parody of a grumpy reactionary than an actual one.

One interesting thing about watching these old TV shows is how old some people look for their age. Like I'd be looking at an actor and thinking they're like 90 and then they reference the characters age and apparently he's like 50 something.
