In all seriousness though, hope everything is not 'critical' and that your injuries heal quickly and with no drama.

The US authorities wanted me to stand in their scanner, but I couldn't, so I got a frisking instead. I think the cast must smell skanky because they skipped my legs all together

I got scannered AND patted down - in both LA and JFK. And had my handbag emptied out and rifled through at JFK.

But I'm also the person that always gets pulled aside here in Australia to have my handbag checked and that wand thing waved all over me (even when I'm just seeing someone off), so probably shouldn't have expected any different in America

Dr thinks it's a stomach virus. All that happens though is the cramping. Buscupan helps. If it's still like this in a day I'll go to my normal dr

Nope - apparently just random.

The last time I was pulled aside domestically I asked the security officer why - was there a particular reason. She said no - simply timing. Whenever they finish one random check, they just pull the next nearest person picking their stuff up off the conveyor belt. I then asked what would happen if I ignored their 'request' and just kept walking. She said they then just take the next nearest person coming through.
