The I Hate Tim Thread

So basically, almost half, if not most of the housemates from last season seem to have met and know Tim...

Josh, Ben, Zoe, Zoey, and more.

So many of the housemates from all of the series would have known so many of other housemates from the other series over the years. Hope that makes sense.

He seems fake to me right now.

he has his 'fake it' voice: thin, high pitch, coming out of the top of his throat and deliberate slow pace. when he does that, i feel he is putting on his radio persona.

and he has his normal voice: still thin-ish, but the voice comes from the chest, and slowly pick up in pace. this is a glimpse of moment of truth IMO.

just compare the clips he egged tahan on to cross the divide and that his speech at the family dinner. quite a difference there i reckon.

Absolutely...the latter being much more relatable, in my opinion. I actaully stopped and listened to what he had to say then. He intrigues me. I believe he has some serious self esteem issues.

*added* ...The ego is huge, but I think some of it is a front, his need to appear a certain way screams of insecurity.

Sorry if it's been said already but Tim's constant attempts to engage everyone within earshot in conversation is simply him announcing he is insecure to the nth degree. Talking loudly is his way of 'taking their temperature' and seeing if they will listen and/or react to him. In the rare cases he pauses for air and allows someone else to respond he can't help but say the word 'like.....' which is a signal that a) he's not really listening to the other party and b) he's going to interrupt, talk over or ignore the other party. He's 29 going on 9.

After writing out his pathetic, over-the-top slam book discussion points for the dinner he was a right sook when it all came back to bite him. His downcast expression may have been his only genuine moment to date but it was deliciously ironic.

tim is mean and spitefulll, when he was on thr good side he was more than happy to rub the halfways face in it, now look at him, he has been banging on hows hes changed which he totally hasnt anyway, but if all was good why change. tim youre all thats bad from your age group youre selfih self centred and you make me sick, i hope you get voted out asap

I agree with Jumpy1, he IS obnoxious! Not to mention attention seeking, loud-mouthed, selfish & just plain annoying. I love how he thinks he is cool, crazy & interesting because of his clothes/loud personality. Tim, you are not cool or interesting. You are just LOUD & demanding. You are boring, because you are so into yourself. Just shut up!

As soon as I heard him talking about [Ben]Matt in the army and the first thing he asked was if he had killed people. What a fucking obnoxious, curly frizzy haired motherfucker.... a fuckin Michael wannabe.... fuck him off asap I say...

Oh I like such a passionate opening. The 'killing people' bit and later when he asked Drew '...why did you get married... do you love her?' or something along those lines -- now if this ain't contrived, nothing is.
On second thought, perhaps it's just something stupid coming out of an idiot's mouth.

For some reason I've got a negative vibe about Tim suddenly - does anyone think that he's playing us all for fools? Maybe it's just all an act.................thoughts? I like him but I don't want him to be "acting". Is this really him we're seeing?

Whenever people bring this up, I always find it difficult to believe that this could actually be reality. I definitely think people exaggerate themselves when they know what they are doing will definitely be shown e.g. Nominations but I do not think people put on an act. Literally every Big Brother housemate in BBAU history has said once they got out in post eviction interviews that after a week or so you truly forget the cameras are there and the House becomes your reality and the first week you try and hide things in your personality like your bad habits but after a week you can not help yourself and you just completely act yourself. Don't stress midiki.

Cool :) It's virtually impossible to put on an act 24/7 so I guess you're right!

I do think that this is the real Tim we are seeing. He is play-acting for sure but seems unable to breach his limited personality's boundaries. A childish boy who, it seems has been given a free ride in life for too long.

They all are playing us for fools.

The best actor/ess who is the best at it, wins BB.

I do think with Tim, he is being himself but is exaggerating it a bit.

He was the one that stripped naked on Rihanna's plane, because she was boring the journalists by not answering questions.

The sad loudmouthed b*stard couldn't even handle being in the diary room with just one other HM (Drew) during the seafood task....he still had to scream at the top of his lungs lest Drew or BB get a word in edgewise.

Worst of all he couldn't keep his grubby little paws off Tahan after he'd messed up her hair.

That's spreading it thick Tim, better beware or I'll start sticking needles into the little voodoo doll I've made of you - now shoo!!

I must say I quite enjoyed Tahan's tribal dance though, if not the hair :)
