The hate for Estelle - where did she go wrong?

Ben yes. There is no such thing as "Ben and Layla" though. Layla exudes purity and good will on-screen whilst Ben leaks evil twisted overt lies. Estelle and Layla are great at playing the game privately in their own minds, whilst Ben, Micheal and the likes tend to seek security through manipulation of others... sad on their parts really. Go Layla, go Estelle.

I get the impression people like to see less attractive people. Both physically and personality wise do well on reality tv shows. It validates themselves as not being so bad.

I don't hate Estelle... But I extremely dislike her for a lot of reasons (most have already been stated) I don't think she should win Big Brother because aside from being 'nice' she didn't really add much to Big Brother (IMO) and if the other house mates hadn't constantly bitched about her presence daily -- She would have been long gone by now.

Also the person she was from her introduction (showed a lot of promise) but as soon as she entered the house it was a different person altogether and one that just made me go 'meh' right from the start. -- From what I've seen of her edits... Most of them just annoy me and in others I'm constantly thinking "WTF?! -- Who on EARTH does this?!"

She's a nice person, don't get me wrong but her behaviour/ multiple personalties just annoy me and (some of) her devoted fan base have made me dislike her even more than I already do especially being 'psychoanalysed' merely from stating and I quote. "I don't hate her but I do dislike her"

How is it because I dislike someone and find traits in that person annoying to equal that I'm a bitch and thus therefore a sad, sad individual with no love/ or compassion in my life? (Seriously WTF?!)

It's not Estelle that went wrong, It's mainly been (some of) the overly-zealous fans of hers... IMO.
 
The bitch in me says being born, but her desperate need for camera attention through playing with a toy horse and embarrassing attempts at rap not to mention shoving lavender virtually up her nose is where she went wrong. She always seems so insincere in a sleazy way. She is also incredibly passive aggressive and loves to shove her face in other peoples. As many members can attest I usually have a vendetta with male housemates, but this year its been all about tearing her down. Probably what tipped me over the edge were her faux lesbian vibes with Ava. Lying bitch.

I will say her fans have enabled me to hate her even more. Estelle is not the rebirth of Christ and she does not shit foreign aid money.

Quoted for mthr fkn truth. The Stelltards killed her for me. She was an annoying git in the house so I wouldn't want her to win anyway but wouldn't have been overly fussed if she did. Because of her "fanbase" I'd have voted for anyone but her if Ben wasn't in the finals.
 
Those who don't like Estelle just because of SOME of her fans are really weak I think. :D And some fans of other HMs say horrendous things about Estelle.

Also Ben and Layla are so annoying, I applaud Estelle for putting up with them. Layla acts like she is still a child, Ben has multiple personalities. Estelle had actually made some of the more boring people in the house more interesting, she has been a central player in the whole drama of the house. She has been one of the few people in the house who didn't follow Ben like a sheep and kept her cool, she was fun and also caring.

Layla has spent a lot of time with Ben lately, so she has caught the Ben bug. She has been showing quite a bit of bitterness lately. Zoe was also in a bad mood and full of resent for the past week and it rubbed off on Layla a bit too since she was often stuck to Zoe. Bad timing for Layla. Sam was a good influence on her, kept her a bit more grounded and also kept her distracted.

Being put off by Estelle because of her Fans is weak? No. Far from it. -- Having Estelle constantly shoved in your face and being told over and over again (like a sledgehammer to a face) she's 'pure' and 'good' -- She's being 'bullied' -- We're bullies because we support the bullying... We're 'vile', 'nasty' and etc... and we're deemed weak because we don't want to conform to being an Estelle Fan?!

It's easy to start disliking something when an obsession is forcefully thrust upon you repeatedly... and that's weak?

And refer to post #109 in reference to Ben and Layla. :D I think there is some hypocrisy in judging Estelle harshly by some standards when others are very arguably worse.

Benny arse lickers are act exactly like their boy. To them anything mildly positive said about Estelle brings about fits of repulsion. Watch ben's face when any housemates says anything complimentary about Estelle, it's hilairous and disturbing at the same time.
So it stands to reason that they'd be irrationally offended by anyone pointing out Estelle's positive attributes as in their mind Estelle is incapable of having any good qualities about her. This is how many genocides have started, demonising groups of people by labeling them as having nothing redeemable at all.
