I have recently returned from a holiday to China and Japan, about an hour out of shanghai by fast train there is a town called Suzhou, it is famous for its silk factories, we had a guided tour thro one, had a try at processing the cocoons, watched the ladies making a Donna using about a hundred stretched cocoons and finished the hour shopping factory direct, it was brilliant, didn't see any cans of cocoons but watched them spinning 8 together to make a single thread, I could go on and on but it is probably boring you to death already!

It was the trip of a lifetime, 23 days away with my sister and 83 year old mum, would do it all again tomorrow, have about 30 gig of photos and videos to relive the whole trip over and over again, it was my first time overseas but my sister (being a teacher) has been many times before so I made her tour guide and she has so many contacts thro sister schools that we got to experience the real thing, not thro a tour company, we stayed in peoples homes about one k from tiannemen square, for example, and friends moved out of their small apartment for us to stay in the middle of Tokyo, then showed us all around as it was " golden week", big festival time, 4 day weekend. Only scary bit was the air pollution, I took a photo of the sun at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, was like looking at the moon, and the strife brewing with north Korea at the time, one of the airport we left had fighter bombers ready and armed!!! I could type for hours but I won't , sorry it was just such an amazing trip.

It sounds amazing. I am happy you could do that, and with your mother, it is the best thing you could do. Being with them, experiencing all that, it will stay in your mind and heart for ever. I would give anything to have my mum back. It is nice to hear when people are having something nice in their lives. I love happiness.

ON TOPIC

If I was in the house and the so called Cool Group, I would want to be part of it. Life is to short not to have fun. Before they know it they will be out of the house. You can't have to much fun, IMO

Absolutely nowhere close to that. These are all basically decent people in real life. BBUS contestants from last season should all be in jail, the kkk, substance abuse programs or psychiatric wards.
