The Charming Mr Clooney...

I thought Zoe was the caregiver for Delilah. But I am often wrong.

I think Mr Clooney is a gorgeous dog! Lot's of spunk and loves Mik already. He'll be an asset to the house I think.

Zoe... Ugh!

Maybe the producers though "dogs like pissing up against pot plants, give her to Zoe"

Though I would have been concerned that Zoe may fry poor Delilah up for a snack.

why all this nastiness towards zoe? thought she was a nice girl

So, this devillish kelpie just walked poo right through my house. May I trade her in for Clooney?

Oh just look at her and hark at your empty threats:)

If Tully manages to pull a sincere regretful face like that when she next sees Tahlia all bets are off.

Is Tully pulled the right face she could probably get Ben in the sack.

Aaww. How could you stay angry with a face like that?
Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

Lovely to see Ben spending more time with Clooney - seems he is growing quite fond of him.
Ben obviously has never grown up with animals and was quite apprehensive about the dog at first but it's great to see him realise what fun a pet can be.

Was really sweet when George was sitting with his head on Ben's lap the other day in one of the live feeds.

I was very upset with Ben's treatment of Mr Clooney in tonight's show. I realise Mr Clooney will forgive Ben because Mr Clooney, being young and enthusuastic and naive, does not understand there is meanness in this world, but I am not the slightest bit inclined to forgive or to forget. It was a very ugly display and it showed a side of Ben's nature that is abhorrent to me. The HMs are supposed to be taking care of Mr Clooney, they should not be mistreating him and being unkind.

You obviously don't understand dogs or have any experience with training dogs. I already replied to a previous post of yours on the matter, but I will say it again.

Dogs needs guidance and boundaries set as puppies. If this is not done, they can be come domineering and aggressive and Mr Clooney is starting to show signs of this as he doesn't appear to have many boundaries in the house. Ben's bed is Ben's bed, and Mr Clooney needs to learn to get down if someone tells him to get down. Mikkayla also needs to be firm when he tries to climb all over her. Mr Clooney lightly bit Ben on the hand when he was removed from the bed and that behaviour is completely unacceptable and needs to be corrected.

The best way the HM's can take care of Mr Clooney is to set boundaries, reward desirable behaviour and correct undesirable behaviour. Some of the most aggressive and unpredictable dogs I have seen are those that the owner has cuddled too much and hasn't set any boundaries with.

Reposting from other thread (since you seem to enjoy repetition): I absolutely agree that dogs need to be trained and I have a well-trained dog of my own (despite your arrogant assumptions about me) but I don't believe Ben was correcting Mr Clooney in any way that would be meaningful to a puppy, he was being rough and aggressive. Pre-trained dogs do not deserve to be manhandled by angry people. Ben should have asked Mikkayla to intervene rather than being so rough, it taught Mr Clooney nothing and could have hurt him.

It was really rank behaviour. I get Ben doesn't like dogs, but ugh. Poor Mr Clooney just thought it was a game, and threw himself into it - and got thrown off the bed with more and more disgust and more and more aggressively. It was horrible to watch, and in retrospect I am surprised and disappointed that BB's voice didn't issue from the ceiling and tell him to knock it off immediately.

Ed needs to try these techniques to get Jade out of his bed. Like the dog, she will probably keep returning anyway though.

Thanks for the sensible post.
I am a huge animal lover but some people simply don't like dogs and others need to respect that.
I thought Stacey was Delilah's carer last year, I remember hating it because she yelled at the dog and frightened the poor thing.

its just a guess but going by that footage i dont think Ben has much experience with dogs. he wasnt being mean he was just out of his depth...probably should have woken Mik and got her to deal with it.

the dog is gorgeous. i'd take him home in a heartbeat if i had room for another.

Yeah, clearly Ben isn't used to dogs and didn't know how to handle cheeky Mr C.
Having said that, agree he was a bit rough with him but he' s made it clear that he can't stand the dog jumping up on the beds or furniture. Water off a duck's back though as Georgy treated it as one big game, loving the roughness and coming back for more.

These breeds of dog definitely need a firm hand as they are extremely wilful and dominant if they can get away with it - as Ben said, Mr C was purposely jumping right in the middle of the bed to block Ben out. He definitely needs good training and someone to show him who is boss while he's still a pup or he will walk all over his new owners.
Mr C strikes me as particularly dominant and a real handful.

Yeah, my cattledog would die of jealousy if I brought him home.
