Hi everyone,

Seeing as we are all such good friends, it only seems right that we should catch up from time to time, and give an account of the fun times so the people who couldn't be there can join in vicariously.

I'm on holiday in NSW, so today @Mr Stickyfingers and Mrs Sticky fingers were kind enough to have me and my travel companion over for the day. Had a great time, Sticky can talk for ages about awesome topics. They were even kind enough to shout us a pub meal - the BBQ Ribs were delicious! Thanks again Sticky!

…after being on these forums since 2012… this is the first time we’ve had someone from these Forums come to our house to meet us and spend the day with us… what a blast!…and yes… all the madness / energy and exuberance that Lightning has here on these forums he really does have in real life lol!… it was a whole day of jokes and laughs… him and his friend were such a pleasure to actually meet… hopefully we can catch up again in the future…

…and… they went to a hell of a lot of trouble to get to us as well… by train from Sydney and then by Uber… quite a journey!… and for that… we thank you both so much… Mrs Sticky took to them both instantly… it usually takes her a while to take to strangers but she liked them almost instantly… (consider me impressed!)… thanks to Lightning and his good friend for a great day… much appreciated my friends…

…it was great to actually meet someone face to face after talking to him on here all these years… I strongly suggest others doing the same on here… talking to each other on the forums seems so…. I don’t know… so sterile… so edited… so clinical perhaps?… but seeing someone face to face is so illuminating… so ‘fresh’… so real… it was so much fun… anyway Lightning… thanks again to you and your friend for making so much effort to come and see us… we were quite humbled that you guys made the journey… also… thanks for a great day… much appreciated … cheers.
