Possible but it wouldn't surprise me if it's true. Regardless, the mental visual isn't pretty.
if I were ever in that situation I'd use wax strips and I figure after that experience he'd get it tended for himself!!

cynical side of me thinks "hmm buying people's loyalty/following" and "how would you know if people are genuine or not with this?"
but stop that crimmy and just accept the guy is doing something wonderful for someone and hope to god that he now doesn't get inundated a whole lot of crazies approaching him for favours / money ...
