The Bachelorette

Poor Richie. Not Heather-sad but still very sad. I kind of suspected it though when Sam referred to him in interviews as "divine" and "beautiful soul". :( I hope he finds someone wonderful for him!

I'm outta here, but here is one for the ladies. Look at all Richie's injuries. Or look elsewhere, it's your choice.

Poor fragile Richie. Perhaps it's a good thing Sam won't be jumping his bones now.

From the other forum...

from specific inside info for a while now (which will be looked back on Thursday when he leaves as F2) Michael was never going to be F1 and he was well aware of it and based on inside info he was a diva on set (the crew/production didn't care for him as I have been given info of) and Sam never wanted to take him further on the show which is why he never got a SD but he wanted to stay on to extend his profile and they had so few contestants already so not much choice there.

Take it or leave it, but I guess this could explain why Sam was crying while she gave the rose to Michael! Actually not a bad setup for final two, though, if that's the case.

I just dont see Sam as being that much of an actress and that she would be all over him like a rash during dates though ... unless she already knew it was going to be Sash and knew she couldn't let Richie be hurt any further ...

Loved how in the interview Richie described Sam as a beautiful soul ... is this the new "it's not you ..it's me" line for breakups?

I wonder if Michael and Sasha will have to do the rounds of interviews together today like they made Lana do with Snez.

I wonder what Michael secretly thinks of Blake Garvey and that whole fiasco. Don't think Sasha would care, but Michael on the other hand.

Not sure what that recent shot of them together was about, the one that made Michael look like a pee wee compared to Sasha. I can see Sasha handling it like a man regardless, and Michael loving the limelight regardless.

Apparently Heather is going to be on Fitzy and Wippa with the final 2 any minute?

Ok well Heather was obviously on separately to them.
Listened and both the guys were good on there. Sasha has a great sense of humour, which I hadn't realised so much before. Making fun of himself about the iguana thing lol

Does Sasha really like her? I honestly can't tell. His attitude towards her has been the same from the moment he walked in with that bad napkin rose: You're my woman. I don't get any sense that he's fallen for her because he got to know her, becasue they get on so well, because spending time with her felt so good, or because she's her. It's as if he could have waltzed in, found any Bachelorette standing there, and been as determined to make her his. Really odd. Patriarchal, in a way, and quite anonymous.

I have to believe her when she says they have chemistry, but it really is hard to fathom.

I'm not sure how genuine Michael is, at all. Perhaps this is all as a result of the shortened season and less footage of real moments? All they've had time to show is creaky so, what are your values? do you want kids one day? so, do you like me? pseudo-relationship questions, etc. (Plus I really cannot let go of the fact that they flouted tradition and took a man to the final four without a solo date. Ha. I'm sure Michael could have come up with as equally ugly a joint artwork. It just doesn't sit right to me and makes a mockery of the process. She may as well have picked the two guys she fancied the most on night one and skipped the whole show.)

I think why I warmed so much to Richie is that he is a genuine person and there were all these bumbling real moments, and also some laughs. The final two just seem smooth guys.

I agree with everything you said @Melore

Can someone please explain the appeal of Sasha? I'm genuinely perplexed that he's made it this far. To me he doesn't have any discernable personality, is inscrutable to read and (though this is personal taste) is very average looking. What is Sam seeing in him that I'm missing as a viewer?

I agree with the "You're my woman"..'me your man' vibe with Sash and suspect Sam may be responding significantly to that. She doesn't strike me as being as heavily career driven compared to someone like Heather for example. Maybe she wants some form of media profile/source of income but also wants a man to fall back on, if it's not viable.
