its apparently a Rolex ... he's very showy ... its very off-putting
 
I find Michael a bit too smarmy. While I think he likes Sam and is genuine in that he is too thought out with his words for my liking. And I think he loves the fan attention very much. I think he's a big cheeseball really and I don't see him sticking with Sam if he's the winner.
He did say that he's very happy with the outcome so I took that to mean he came second and is now The Bachelor, which is what he wanted. I don't want him to be though.

Based on how Sam dealt with each of the guys on the dates...she expressed concern about Richie not opening up...bye. She expressed concern to Sasha about her own insecurities in comparison to his achievements. For Michael she said "how would being your girlfriend work?" around his lifestyle.

I thought it meant he has got to finale, got all the attention, all the extra followers and adoring fans WITHOUT getting stuck with the ONE girl option ... the dating pool is now his to play in and he's a happy man.

although he DOES come across as loving his little niece and seems very comfortable holding her and cuddling her - so I don't think THAT is an act ...

but I do think he's heavily into self-promotion ... and he gets the best of both worlds this way

I don't want him to be bachelor either - I would much prefer Richie or if its not Richie a total new person without a business to promote and shove up our noses throughout the whole thing

this actually looks/feels more like he's asked someone to take a photo of them on his phone ... whereas Sash's one is screenshot from the show ...
 
Apart from the part where I kept thinking does he have a load of loose poop in his flight pants? - I quite liked Sash for the very first time in this whole series, when he was feeling ill with fear in the plane with the jump ahead...

I think she's dialled right back with Sash and is just so thrilled she's got a chance with Michael now.

ERgh. Gee, I was hoping she'd choose Richie and have a family with him and live happily ever after...
 
Oh well, goodnight. I'm sure it's going to be very romantic tomorrow etc (one more guy gets a horrible shock). But my heart's not in it now Richie's gone.

Really it has been all downhill for me since David the International Model read her taste/values re men a little too correctly and left.

Makes me wonder why they didn't give Sasha a warning too. Or maybe Sam told Michael to take it down but can't tell Sash because she's not with him lol.
 
How did Michael not get the warmth and expressiveness of his parents. He does seem a bit better in this episode, but still, if I turned off the sound and looked at the segments of where he talks to the camera about the excitement about whale-watching and his fear of Sam not choosing him, I wouldn't be able to tell which is which! But Sam did seem very happy when he said he was falling for her, and they look quite cosy.

Publicity stunt, maybe? Could of told him to post it and then take it down to make it look like he is the winner, when he isn't. It will be interesting to see how this goes but I am very confident Sasha won this.
